Terms & Conditions of “Secret Holiday” Contest
These terms and conditions are applicable to the “Rate your Hotel Stay” contest ( the Contest) on www.holidayiq.com
All participants who have clicked on the “Accept” button on the website are deemed to have accepted and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions set out herein.
This Contest is open to all individuals who are registered members of HolidayIQ who have completed 18 years of age as on 1st September, 2012. Employees of Leisure and Lifestyle Information Services Private Limited (the "Company") and its group companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, prize sponsors and the immediate family members of the Employees are, however, not eligible to take part in the Contest.
The Contest commences at the beginning of 1st September, 2012 and shall end at the close of 31st October, 2012. Submissions received after 12.00 midnight on 31st October, 2012 will not be eligible for inclusion in the Contest.
To qualify for the contest participants are required to rate and review hotels using the online rating form available on HolidayIQ. In addition to rating and reviewing, participants may also upload photographs of holiday destinations and accommodation options utilized during their stay.
All eligible entries for the Contest submitted online according to the submission guidelines on the www.holidayiq.com shall only be eligible for the prize for the Contest
Winner of the Contest will be chosen as per the criteria of the Contest listed in the website and the Winner of the Contest will be notified by e-mail to their e-mail address provided in their ‘My Profile’ section on HolidayIQ.
The Company shall in no circumstance be responsible for the inability of a member to submit an entry to the Contest due to any cause/s relating to failure of hardware, software, connectivity or any other reasons. All entries submitted by the Members during the Contest shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Company.
This contest shall not be valid in the state of Tamil Nadu or any other State/s where such contests are declared void by operation of law/ regulations.
The Company may request such proof of identity from the Winner as the Company in its sole discretion as it deems fit. The Company will be entitled to disqualify the Winner of the Contest if any details provided at the time of entering the contest are not verifiable or are verified and found to be false.
The prizes cannot be encashed or transferred. The Winners shall be liable for all taxes or surcharges that may be levied on the contest prize by the prize sponsors or any government or other agencies. A winning participant in the contest would be required to confirm receipt of e-mail notifying him/her about such prize, within 7 days of receiving such e-mail. Failure to do so will be deemed as a non-acceptance of the prize, following which such Winner will have no claim to the prize in question.
The participant herein confirms and agrees that his/her details can be used by the Company for its Company's promotional and marketing purposes.
The participant agrees to indemnify the Company, its agents, employees, and representatives, against any and all claims, losses, costs, damages, liability and expenses if any arising out of the participant's participation in the contest. The participant agrees that he/she shall hold harmless the Company, its employees, officers or any other person in connection with the Contest. The participant by entering this contest releases the Company from any claim, action or demand arising out of or in connection with the contest and/ or the prize.
Any disputes between the Company and any participant shall be settled by arbitration to be conducted in Bangalore as per the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Subject to the above, the courts at Bangalore shall have exclusive jurisdiction in all matters.
The Prize is as below.
THE PRIZE:
There will be one free holiday to be won every week of the contest period. The contest prize includes hotel accommodation worth up to Rs.5000/ for two people in a destination of the winner’s choice. HolidayIQ will provide the winner with only Hotel stay. The holiday needs to be availed between 1st of November, 2012 and 15th of December, 2012 (both dates included). Change of travel dates shall not be permitted under any circumstance. No compensation, whatsoever, shall be made.
Winner will be picked through a lucky draw. The entries which will be eligible for the draw are only the ones that have been submitted online in adherence to the submission guidelines and are approved and published on www.holidayiq.com.
HolidayIQ reserves the right to modify any of the above mentioned terms and conditions any time during the course of the contest.
Agreement to receive E-Mail Communications
By filling up the forms relating to this contest on the website, participants are consenting to the receipt of communication from HolidayIQ - electronic, telephonic or otherwise.
