very close to beach.........in fact,location wise,this is best hotel in bakkhali.i booked a cottage............open space in front of the cottage is perfect for evening chat .......room decor is simple but sophisticated.......room service is good......i liked the quality of food ........overall,this is good hotel to stay......and considering the cost,best hotel in bakkhali

Best Experience: in market,i found fresh hilsa fish.....and purchased it.........requested the cook to fry for me.....he did it and served with dinner........

Worst Experience: nil

The hotel is still under construction..new blocks are coming up....no gate or a proper entrance as yet..whole place is water logged after heavy rain.

Best Experience: To our dismay, the sea is quite a distance from the hotels.....the WBTDC hotel is however the nearest to the beach..infact there is a brick laid narrow walking track..with trees all around..a shortcut to the baech...quite romantic!

Worst Experience: We got Room no. 7 in which the water pipe to the commode\'s cistern was defective. It had this habit of popping out suddenly with the water gushing out. While in the room, we pushed back the pipe in to the socket, 2/3 times. While we were out for the site seeing trip, this unfortunately popped out again & there was no one to fix it back . The moment we came back, the manager was full of complains saying that we had left the tap open..though we tried in vain to explain the problem..he insisted that we have to be more careful about handling \'delicate\' toilet features!!! As there are very few hotel staff, the cook was sent as a plumber to rectify the fault! The result was that he pulled out the whole tap!!!!!!! We were shifted to room no. 8 after that! Room service is very, very bad. No body was ever available in the \'Reception\'. Intercom & calling bells dont work! When I threatened to complain, one staff was rather pleased & encouraged us to complain! His story was that 17 staff members had been reduced to 5, hence it was not their fault at all for the bad service!!
