very good position,calm and quiet,rooms have all necessary facilities,food is quite tasty , sight seeings are arranged from hotel,hotel people are cordial.

Best Experience: sight of Sunrise on Kanchenjunga seen through the room window and balcony.

Worst Experience: nothing.

Position of the hotel is beautiful. you will get the clear view of Kanchenjangha, if you get the rooms facing the moumtain & the clear sky. It is on the old Helipad. The entrance of the Hotel is not very comfortable. But all your problems will be solved if you are lucky enough to see the Kanchenjangha.

Best Experience: to view the Kanchenjangha in clear sky -- really it was a wonderful experience.

Worst Experience: during my first visit in Pelling -- the weather was very bad -- it was drizzling throughout the day & we had to leave Pelling due to that bad weather. we stayed at Rabangla instead of Pelling for the last two days of our programme. This was really a bad experience.

Nice overall experience. Though the location of the hotel is fine, we couldn\'t locate Kanchendzongha due to dense fog. We stayed for 2 days in Pelling. To get the breathtaking view of the sunrise / sunset one needs to have good luck.

Best Experience: Trecking to Sanghachoula Monastery at 7500 ft. It is a steep climb and reaching there you would feel yourself at the top of the world. Vehicles wont reach at the top and it is a 30 mins climb. The monastery is located at Upper Pelling and you will get very few tourist up there due to the tough route.

Worst Experience: Room service is not satisfactory. Morning tea or breakfast was served after 2-3 reminders. Also due to the foggy climate during the 2 days stay we couldn\'t see Kanchendzongha.

i have stayed in simvo from 27 th sep for two days.the location is very good and view of khanchanjanga was spectacular. but the staffs are at all co operative because for sight seeing they fetched a good sum.

Pelling is a ideal gateway for the mountain lovers. Starting from the road to pelling from Silliguri itself is great experience. The journey can be best enjoyed if one travel in a cab. The cab charges are about Rs 2000/- from siliguri to Pelling. Once you reach Pelling the conducted sightseeing is good. Kanchenjunga falls, Khechipedi lake are the routine ones. But paying some extra bucks one should visit Yumthang, Norbugang throne, Karthok Lake. Karthok lake is like a dream, a serene, still and lonely lake amidst green mountains. Singhsore bridge is also worth seeing, although the road to Singhsore bridge is very risky one. Kanchenjunga peak is the main attraction of Pelling. The Pelling town is ideal getway ffrom the hustle bustle of the busy life of cities.

Best Experience: Get up early in the morning, 4:30 am and see the grand Kanchenjunga ranges in the beauty of early rays of Sun as it changes from red to White. Kanchenjunga is usually visible only in the early mornings and evenings as the Sun goes down. Rest of the day it is covered with the clouds. One should be staying in the floors4\'th or the fifth to get the best views in Hotel Simvu.

Worst Experience: the entrance of the hotel from the New Helipad ground.
