The resort was very good. If you are looking for moderate bydget hotel close to teh beac, then i would tell you not to miss staying in Ticlo. A very decent place with excellent food and drinks.

This resort/hotel is very average. The rates are high compared to the facilities provided. The food here is good, however seems to be very high priced. The morning breakfast is a disaster. No south Indian dish available. Only thing available is egg, bread etc.

Best Experience: The fridge in the room was good addition. We could have a good drink whenever we felt like and it was restocked every day.

Worst Experience: Swimming pool is available, however the depth is too much. If one does not know swimming, then it is dangerous entering the pool. Also no lifeguards available, so swim at your own risk. Also there was kitchen platform in my front room. I felt this hotel to be more a kind of service apartment than a resort. We did not get any feeling of being in a hotel/resort, even after paying a high price.

My advice to fellow travellers....don\'t go to Ticlo if you have a choice. The resort is expensive for the facilities available. What is committed is not provided and service is sloppy. Though it is not far from the Calangute beach (just a 5 min walk) but the beach itself is very crowded and dirty.My fancy would be the Baga.

Best Experience: The food is the only saving grace . And the fridge in the room.

Worst Experience: In the package you are promised complimentary breakfast. But it is not buffet. Choice is limited to Omlettes for cntinental and puri bhaji or parantha etc. for India. Mind you repeat of only the previously ordered item can be allowed. That is if you take omlette with toast you cant take parantha; f you\'ve gonr for paranthas then puri bhaji is not for you. Pick up and drop is in a shabby Omni van. No welcome drink though it is promised. Rates of items on the menu are not what is charged in the bill. In short, the guys are out to fleece you.
