I had been to Coonoor during the month of February 2017 2016 and booked the room in the 180B0 McIver. It was my relaxation trip with family. My travel destination was very good with necessary comforts. I would rate the location as very good transportation is easy from this place. I would rate the appearance of the hotel as average. Hotel front office was good since they are always available with correct information. I booked this room directly at hotel. I would rate the services in the hotel were average. The hotel room was average. The hotel food was average.
I love this resort very much, view and hospitality is very good. Nice service for the guests, old aged building with good maintenance. Nice grasslands for the children to play, almost foreigners visit this place. We mostly go to this resort to get relaxed life.
A beautiful place, as soon as you reach you'll be welcomed by the calmness of the place, a beautiful villa with a lush green lawn with trees and flowers and an amazing view of valley. Located slightly away from city and hence its very peaceful. They have six rooms, since we were 3 couples we got three rooms having a common living room. Rooms are quite spacious with colonial style furniture which fits perfectly with the architecture of villa. They provide heater and have fire provision in room The villa caretakers are very attentive and breakfast is managed by them and was very tasty along with tea/snacks though out the day, whereas lunch & dinner is served by restaurant which is also open to public. I suggest to order well in advance for lunch and dinner as it gets delayed a lot if not ordered in advance As a feedback, I suggest management to put proper directions to the reception and guest rooms as restaurant guests often wanders within the property and in the absence of clear demarcation, they keep peeking in rooms which is very annoying Overall, we had a wonderful time here and I would definitely recommend the place.
My overall experience was good in this hotel. I had no difficulty to reach the hotel. Check-in and check-out facility was not delayed. Rooms were neat and clean and beautiful view was available from the room. Food was tasty and many varieties were available. Hotel was money worth according to the facilities. I went there in 2012. This is a recommendable hotel for others.
It is very pleasant stay experience at the 180 Mciver in Coonoor. The ambient is very pleasant and very close (walkable distance) to Coonoor Flower Park and hotels and so on. The food is good and outside playing area is very nice and enjoyable and amenities are good. I love to stay there, whenever I go Coonoor.
Hotel is good but room service is not satisfactory. There is no hook to hang the clothes in room. When we enter in the room, room was not clean properly. Before allotting the room it should be cleaned properly. Otherwise location is good.
