Agatti Island is considered the gateway to the Lakshadweep Islands, which is a chain of islands that lies about 320 km off the south-west coast of India. The most serene spot of this island is the Agatti Island Resort that offers one of the world’s best swimming beaches. Apart from the beach, the resort houses a huge and shallow lagoon and is surrounded by several coconut trees.

The island offers blue lagoons, sugary white beaches, coral reefs and swaying palms. Various water sports can be availed in this island such as snorkelling, sailing, water skiing, scuba diving, kayaking, glass bottom boat rides and deep sea fishing.

A variety of fish, corals and turtles can be viewed in the island. The island also offers sea excursions to neighbouring uninhabited islands such as Parali, Thinnakara and Kalpitty.
