All Saints Church is one of the oldest churches of Shillong constructed during the days of British Raj. The British used to compare the area around Shillong to Scotland because of its hills, waterfalls and forests and many used to stay here during summer.
The original church constructed on Kacheri road was completely destroyed in 1897 in an earthquake. Construction of the new church was completed in 1902. The colonial style church is having wooden structure. There are masses every day, but on Sundays many believers come here to attend morning mass.
All Saints Church stands opposite to the State Central Library. While visiting the All Saints Church, you can also visit some of the other nearby attractions like the State Museum, Lady Hydari Park, Crinoline Falls and swimming pool and Butterfly Museum.
All Saints Church is a perfect site to spend a peaceful time along with your family. Not only believers, but also people who are looking for a different experience will find this church to their liking.
September to May is the best time to visit Shillong. Shillong lies on National Highway NH 40 and hence it is easy to reach the All Saints Church.

Good place to visit

The 1902 All Cathedral would look perfect pictured on a biscuit tin. There is a nice view shows from it. Inside it is very well mannered showed all things. It is a very peaceful, relaxing place to visit.
