View from the top is picture perfect

After checking out the Mahalakshmi Temple, do take the steps leading from behind the temple. These steps lead up the Altinho Hill. The site of several grand but decaying mansions from the colonial era. The view from the top is picture perfect. Also on this hill is the residence of the Archbishop of Goa, the Patriarchal palace. The late Pope John Paul II is said to have rested here during his visit in 1989.
