Check in check out was done on time. Service was on time. Room was neat and clean. All basic amenities were available in the hotel. Food was excellent in taste. Behaviour of the staff was cooperative and friendly. I did not take food from the hotel. No WiFi facility was given. Swimming pool facility was available in the hotel. No activities were held at the hotel. WiFi facility was not available. I would suggest this hotel to other travellers.
Its a beautiful property founded at the heart of the city of Udaipur. The property is on the banks of lake Pichola and it gives a pictorial view of the City Palace and the Lake Palace, especially at night when both the palaces are lit up. The food at their restaurant is absolutely lip-smacking. Their rooms are cosy, comfortable and have an old world charm to it.
We enjoyed to the fullest. Worth the money and time. Loved rooms. Amazing food. Only negative is we felt more preference was given to foreign tourist then Indians but we cared dam. We enjoyed food. Breakfast was lovely. It's near to market and on the lake pichola which is the best part of this hotel.
Nice hotel, good staff and service provided by hotel, nice view and interior. Food was good and tasty, room are neat and clean. Interior of hotel is very good, please visit the hotel once you visit the Udaipur. Service are very good. Location was good and please visit the hotel.
We had visited Udaipur for holiday purpose along with our family and friends and what a wonderful experience we had at Amet Haveli, Udaipur. It was fun to walk the narrow lanes reaching the hotel with shops on either sides, the hotel rooms were in excellent conditions. The most pleasing sight was having food in their restaurant next to the lake overlooking the palace which was lit and live musical instruments being played to entertain us. It was just out of this world feeling at night. Please try their mutton bhuna, overall it's a great place to wind up.
For me the most important thing is great views followed by a good clean room. Food comes next and then the staff response, behaviour etc. Etc I stayed here on the extended 4 day weekend last August in suite no. 7 which is the best located suite, has space enough for a family with 2 small children without making it feel congested, has enough windows to let you see both the lake and the Udaipur palace from inside your room. The interiors and linen are as plush and gives a rich feel. The room is adjacent to the pool As I said, views are important for me and so is food, so a meal with a view of the Lake and the city palace and Lake Palace and practically the entire city around the lake had to be the most precious meal. The restaurant here called Ambrai offers exactly the same The staff is very helpful, in fact one of the attendant who doubled up as a photographer for us overwhelmed us by the interest with which he clicked our pics. The food was awesome and The bar is fine - I had a caprioska and it was very nice Next day morning, my son went for a splash in the pool and we lazed around and had then had breakfast, in the same ambience but with the surrounding soaked in day-light Overall very good experience. Thanks Amet and Thanks Vial Sahu in particular for making this stay so special - hope to come back again sometime.
My husband and I along with my younger sister visited Udaipur in March 2015. We were booked in Amet Haveli The approach to the hotel is a difficult route to cross, narrow full of traffic. On reaching hotel premises, take a deep breathe as the hotel is a heritage one and very well maintained. A tour of the entire place is a must. If you walk down the corridor you come a few steps that leads to the lake and a beautiful sight of a sunlight city. For a person from a busy city like Noida, staying in such an environment even for a few days is very relaxing. The suite where we stayed was excellent, very neat, spacious and comfortable. The meals services are good, we had a very filling breakfast in the open restaurant on the lake. The food is tasty and simple. We had dinner too trying out some Rajastani dishes. The only problem being that the lighting is not very comfortable. But the food and the service compensates it. They have a sunset point, which is worth spending a few minutes watching. Overall, had an amazing experience.
We stayed here for two nights in the month of February '15. Beautiful room right on the water. The adjoining Ambrai Restaurant is terrific - You dine outside under the trees on a dirt floor patio with a water level view of the city palace and a Dhobi Ghat - and the food is great too! Plus, the evening Sarangi/tabla performances were a real treat. If you can't find the office when you arrive that's because there still isn't one (At least not when we were there - Construction on going), so as mentioned above, just ask around at the restaurant 'til you find someone to check you in.
The overall stay was excellent and the hotel was not convenient to reach. The hotel was near to the lake and the hotel restaurant was marvellous. The staff service was not delayed. The Haveli is so good also staff service, Very good hotel and amazing room service. Hotel was clean and green. Everything from items in the room to other amenities were working. Rooms were made beautiful and bed was of another theme type.
The situation of the hotel was in convenient place and there was no problem. The staff were helpful in behaviour and their service was helpful. The food was good with many dishes in the menu with rich quality. There were both veg and non-veg dishes available. The appearance of the hotel from inside and outside was nice. The room was spacious, neat and clean and it was also very well maintained. All the amenities like AC, TV, and geyser were in proper conditions. There was no delay in check-in and check-out as well as booking process. The money spent was worth paid on the hotel.
This place is for those who expect to have a wonderful experience in small budgets. If you do not want to spend 25k @ Taj\'s Lake palace & yet want the waters to play with your window, Amet Haveli is the place to stay! You pay only one-fifth that price!
