I visited Aquaserrene hoping that it would recreate the nice experiences I had during my first visit. I give full credit to the location, but slightly disappointed with the other factors. The place is calm as it is located almost in the midst of a serene lake. The trip was part of a get together with my former classmates on August 8. We spent a relaxed day and night there. The scenic beauty around the cottages are marvellous Though the resort is nicely located, it is not maintained well by the management. The cottages are losing their charm as many of the tiles fixed on the concrete roofs are seen broken Swimming Pool: The swimming pool was not functioning. The water filter mechanism of the pool was lying broken Stay: We took three cottages, of which two belonged to the double storied twin cottage building on the easternmost side. The cottages had a living room in the lower floor and bedroom on the upper. The beds were clean. The AC started leaking in one living room and finally we had to switch it off, as no one came for repairs Restaurant: The food they served was good. But if you are looking for a cost effective visit here, better choose a package with food (AP or MAP) as ala chart food prices are high If the resort is well managed, it still have a chance to get to the top of one of the best resorts in Kerala.
Located at the heart of the town. Location is excellent. The atmosphere at the hotel is very pleasant. Price is also okay, but the amenities provided are not up to the mark. They should have improved the quality of services offered there at the hotel. Kitchen was delicious. Room service was good and can be improved. Finally, we can stay if you don't look afterward the budget. A bit costlier hotel.
I had been to Paravoor in the month of June 2015 and stayed in this hotel. The hotel was conveniently located and was close railway station. The staff members in the hotel were helpful and quick in services. The internal and external appearance of the hotel was nice. The room allotted to me was spacious and it was well maintained with all required amenities in working condition. There was lake view from the hotel room. I ate non vegetarian food in the hotel and it was good in quality and taste, and the price was affordable. There was no delay in check in and checkout. There was swimming pool, Camp fire, and indoor games in the hotel. Overall, I was satisfied with the stay and it was value for money and I will recommend this hotel to other travellers.
The location was very convenient to reach. The appearance of the hotel was excellent both internally and externally. There was no problem in check in and check out. The hotel services were good. The food was added in the package. The room was spacious and well maintained. There were no much activities. I recommend it to other travelers. There are good views from the hotel. The hotel had good bathroom facilities innovative traditionally. The hotel had good reception service. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
I stayed here as a component of a family gathering. The resort is spread out likely more than 22 to sections of land. The cabins were independent and had a run of the mill Kerala touch. There was even a banana plant in the no rooftop washroom! It was extremely unwinding to sit by the water before the cabin and watch the pontoons pass by at a separation. They likewise offer courts to play badminton. The breakfast was great with the vast majority of the run of the mill kerala dishes like appam, idiappam, puttu, dosa and so on. General a decent place to joint with family at a sensible cost.
A warning before I proceed - Do not get carried away by the website of Aquaserene, it's very misleading One of the most scenic locations imaginable. Right at the edge of the Ashtamudi Lake. Green and manicured lawns and perfect lake view. Closest Airport is Trivandrum and Rail head is Kollam. The resort is located in an hamlet called Paravur, a short distance from Kollam. Though Paravur has it's own railway station, not all trains stop there. The resort can be seen from the train as it crosses the Ashatamudi Lake Bridge, and that was the precise reason for me to visit the place It is not a star resort and be ready to accept a slightly below par reception. The rooms are cottages along the lake side and have a double occupancy made to resemble the traditional Kerala architecture. There are also larger villas for larger families. The view of the lake is breathtaking The resort has a swimming pool, that insists on swim suits as compulsory, but was a turn off when we noticed families in House coats and other inappropriate clothing splashing in it and none of the resort personnel taking cognisance. The water in the pool is salty and not regularly filtered. So swim at your on risk The restaurant is average, not serving you any thing exquisite, but mediocre Kerala cuisine. There are no recreation facilities and the area earmarked for it is used to dump laundry, so do not get carried away with what the website states. Room service is poor. The rooms are not well maintained and you could find an occasional cockroach or spider crawling into your bed. The bathrooms are seemingly echo friendly with partly roofed and a plantain tree or shrub forming part of the decor, here again brace yourself if you find a chameleon /spider or cockroach or two giving you company. There's no private beach either the website claims An ideal place to laze around and read a book and not be bothered about top of the line service.
This Property is Awesome, cottages & rooms are located near backwater. Very nice silent place. They have a very clean Swimming Pool with a Child Pool neatly maintained. The food served was fantastic. Cottages were build in ancient type traditional Kerala houses.
I stayed here with my friends as they came to Kollam to enjoy their holidays. We stayed here for 2 days. Resort is located nicely as it was very close to a lake. Rooms are spacious and clean. People are friendly and helpful. Food provided was also good. It is not far away from the railway station and is easily accessible. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.
I stayed here for two days as my engineering batch conducted our reunion here. I have to say its one of the best place to enjoy holidays. It is located on the lake side and scenic view is excellent. Rooms are clean and maintained. Hotel is great and food is also excellent, and not that expensive. We just enjoyed our reunion here.
What a lovely property this is, 3 sides of it is surrounded by backwater, there are small water ways built inside the property as well, that makes it very beautiful. This is large property, room we were in was spacious, clean and redecorated. Staff was little slow to react, language may be the issue, some of them I found speak English well. Still they were trying their best to serve the guests. Food was also average. I think its very nice property but they can do it better. Best of luck for the management.
