Flights to Reach Bangalore
A haven for yogis and nature lovers
The AOL ashram is situated about 25 kms from central Bangalore and is one of the must-see places if you're in Bangalore. It's situated in a wide expanse of greenery with breathtaking views of hills and a lovely lake inside. The Vishalakshi Mantap with it's grandeur is alluring and vedic spas add a healing touch to sore muscles. If you're in Bangalore and have a day to relax, rejuvenate and meditate, AOL ashram is one place you shouldn't miss.
Oasis of Serenity
The Ashram is such a peaceful place. Once I reached there, I registered for the bus tour in which they show us the Ashram and it's activities. This tour is free of cost and also includes meditation as well as lunch. You can also participate in Satsang in the evening and trust me this is not like an ordinary boring satsang. The place is beautiful and it is a must visit even if you are not a spiritual person.
A place filled with love!
This place is filled with positive vibes, smiling faces and celebrations all the time. A Great Spiritual retreat location. "A must visit place in Bengaluru for its peaceful and serene atmosphere. "Satsangs happens daily. Monday to Saturday at 6:30pm Sunday at 4:30pm Rudra puja every Monday at 7am.
Peaceful and serene place
Beautiful place which is a treat to the soul. Meditation session was really good. You can opt for a bus tour to see the property. Lunch provided is very simple and satvik but tastes really nice. Should definitely visit this place if you stay near Bangalore. People are very helpful and all directions are very clear.
Peace of mind
We have been planning for a long time to visit AOL. Finally got the chance today. Its an excellent place, different from normal attractions, what they say "Sabse Hatke". The place does not tell you anything to implement or follow, they just show you better ways of living, a way to lead a tension free life. It was our first visit so had limited time. But in that we could do a guided tour of the whole area which includes the Vishalakshmi Temple, open air amphitheatre, goshala, ayurveda college and VVMP. Also half an hour presentation which includes a ten minutes Dhyan (meditation). I wondered if I could stay there for some more time. Lastly a very simple yet delicious lunch at Annapoorna hall. To better understand and learns techniques its advisable to undergo residential training programs like the "Happiness Program" which starts every Friday and ends on Saturday. There is no charge for these day activities, its your wish if you want to donate. You can buy other food at the Vishala cafe if not interested for the lunch. Also you can buy fresh vegetables, milk and dairy products and ofcourse ayurvedic medicine. Look forward to visit the place again and enroll for a residential program.
The best place to be in
The Art of Living International Ashram is the most calm place I have ever been to. The main meditation hall, The Vishalakshi Mantap, is simply superb, a treat to visit. There are plenty of awesome places to visit inside itself, like Radha Kunj, the lake, Shakti Kutir, Gaushala, Sumeru Mantap, Guru Paduka Vanam, and some others of which I don't remember the names. The food in the kitchen is free and very tasty. There are many places where one can stay also inside the ashram. There is juice shop which serves organic fruit juices. The place is breath takingly awesome. A must visit place for anyone and everyone.
Very serene campus
The campus is very beautiful, green and clean. Ample parking space is available. There are nice eateries for breakfast, lunch etc etc. Very lush gardens lined with trees and beautiful cottages surrounding a small lake/pond inside the campus. The bhawans are magnanimous. They also offer free yoga sessions for non-members in the evening. Perfect for a day tour.
Keep calm and forget your worries
This is located on outskirts of Bangalore, on Kanakapura Road. The place is covered with greenery and is a very calm place, very much suitable for meditation. Dont forget to buy some Ayurvedic medicinal stuffs. A separate walkway was very much appreciated to reach the Vishalakshi Mantapa.
This is an excellent place to visit incase you are looking for long lasting peace and inner happiness. Enjoyed thoroughly the visit especially chanting of mantras and satsang with Guruji.
Spirituality at its best
This place is located near Kanakpura. The place is full of greenness and calmness. You can go for meditation over there and even you can book in advance the rooms for stay. The cafe is really awesome and there are a lot of books for reading and even you can purchase it. Overall, a great experience.
