Water water everywhere..

This barrage, about 7 km before Dakpathar, is on the borders of Uttrakhand and Himachal. The Asan Reservoir or the Dhalipur lake, as it is popularly known, is a bird watchers paradise. About 50 species of birds are known to inhabit the lake. Quite a few them apparently arrive here from as far as Siberia. The lake backed by the green hills gives a feel of the broadening horizons and majestic mountains that lie just ahead. Staying options are available near the Barrage.
