Ashutosh Inn, Shillong

Really good budget hotel with excellent food, waiters are really helpful and of course reception people are very helpful, within budget its really good hotel. Rooms are bit small, but its on the main road, 5 minutes walkable to police bazaar, always hot water available. Excellent room service. I advise better to carry your own bed sheet.

The hotel was very good. The food was good. The rooms were neat and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was very good. The hotel is not a budget hotel. It is a bit costly. It can be recommended to others. Rooms were spacious and big. There were some activities but didn't find time to experience them. The location of hotel was excellent. The appearance of the hotel is average. Booking procedure was smooth and good. Gangtok is an excellent place to visit.

I went for a holiday on 10th April 2014 with my girl friend and stayed three days in the Ashutosh Inn, Shillong. The hotel is nicely located. The food was excellent. The behaviour of the staff is good. The rooms are clean and airy. The toilets are clean. Hot water is always available. Ashutosh inn situated at center of the Avowal. Good communication from Aizawl airport. We can come here from Kolkata and Guwahati by air or road. Kolkata to Guwahati can come by train. Guwahati to Shillong can take tata sumo by share (Rs:150 per person) or you can take taxi. It is hill station at night temperature decreases rapidly. Please carry woolen clothes. I recommend Ashutosh Inn, to anyone who wants to enjoy weekend in a budget hotel.

It charged me 1800 for double bed room, rooms are well furnished, clean with gyser. Location is also good, walking distance from police bazar but fooding problem is there. Specially breakfast in early morning not available. Wifi not available when we went there.

Good place to stay. Five to Ten minutes walk from where you can get cabs to go any place you want to explore and major shopping centers. The food is good. Beds are comfortable Bathroom and rooms were very good. Staff was good. Quick room service. Honesty up-to mark. Like to visit again. All the best for future. Love Shilong and stay in Ashutosh Inn. Its very near 2 market.
