Nature's beauty
I have a nice pleasing experience. A peaceful place to roam with friends. Though the lake is now getting dried up but still its beauty is eye catchy. Trees, peacocks, parks, restaurants add to its beauty. The hotels provide tourists with quality food at a decent amount of money. Many small vendors can also be seen selling small items. A few temples are situated near Badkhal Lake. Large rocks, cool atmosphere makes it a perfect one day outing place. I love to go there every second weekend. Moreover it is free of cost so no problem in visiting again and again.

A lake not maintained
Badkhal Lake was a once natural lake situated in Badkhal village near Faridabad, Fringed by the hills of the Aravalli Range this was a man-made embankment. Due to unchecked mining, the lake has now totally dried up. There are restaurants in the vicinity. A flower show is held every spring here. The Peacock Lake, near to it is better than this.

Peaceful and calm place!
Badkhal Lake was one of the most sought after place for weekend visits. But over the years it has lost its charm. I guess city life eats into the charm of the nature. You can spend a lovely day with family here. There is also provision of boating and horse riding if you are interested. There are several shops which will take care of your food related needs. It is a calm and quiet place to spend a day with nature.
