On my family trip I visited Srirangapatna. I went there in the month of March 2017. We booked the room directly. The location of the hotel was well placed. The appearance of the hotel was superb. The Front office staff was responding well. The service of the hotel was fine. The room was well maintained. We had food in the hotel. It was tasty and delicious. There were no other activities. We were totally satisfied with the hotel. I will suggest this hotel to other travelers also.
I have stayed in Balaji Grand in February 2014. Hotel was not started fully. Restaurant inauguration was awaited. Didn't get net facility & internet range was also not available. It is near to bus stand & no other hotel up to that level. Housekeeping need to be improved. Room service was not proper.
The hotel was easy to access. It is conveniently located near to the bus stop. The services was to good and the appearance of the hotel was very good and it was useful to me, there is view from the room, the room was very spacious, and the hotel staff behaviour was good and helpful and there is no delay in check-in check-out process. The food at the hotel veg was good and tasty but non-veg were not good, tasty. It was valued was my money that I spend. I would like recommend this to others . .
Overall experience was good. Except the fact that the room keys were not handed over when we came. We cycled from Bangalore to srirangapatna and were bit tired. We expected rooms to be given immediately. Took ages to get the keys .
Its quite a horrible place. The \'resort\' is not quite a resort... its like a farmhouse in Srirangapatna. If you have no where else to stay, stay here. Else, just give it a skip. Amblee which is next door across the river is quite a bit better.
There is absolutely nothing to do. I feel it shouldn\'t even be called a resort! I am wondering why We didn\'t try the resorts nearby(young Island,Balaji etc..). I travel a lot to different destinations and I am compelled to rate this as one which I wouldnt try a second time. Room is not worth the price(Rs 1200 + 12% tax). Rooms appear to be shady, There are absolutely no activities to do. No sport facilities, although the resort people say they do! I would prefer to call it a LODGE and not a resort
