Beautiful place but too crowded and commercialized
The waterfall, the stream and the setting of this place are beautiful. The waterfall itself is not very tall - you can actually walk into the pond below it and the long stream flows through a thin forest over rocks and through crannies. But, the calm and beauty of this place are disturbed by the "park" that has been created around the waterfall. There is lots of commercial activity around here and too many artificial things - from pillioning to adventure sports, from Sikkimese dress photos to snack shops, from an artificial boating pool to statues. If all those things were just a little outside the main waterfall area, it would have been a serene place. The place is ticketed and it's clean & maintained. Most basic facilities like clean toilets and food are there.
A must visit during Gangtok sight seeing
A beautiful waterfall situated in a lush green valley. The complex is adorned by a park with beautiful sitting places, statues and models exhibiting the local life. Local food and handicrafts are available for sale.

Well this place is worth a visit, it's far from Gangtok, hence your travel agent might the not include it in sight seeing.Visit between 1 to 5.Food is available inside, so that's relief, because this place is huge.Very well planned and very well constructed.Clean.And the waterfall is just beautiful
Beautiful falls developed into park
Banjhakri waterfalls: is a natural waterfall made into a picturesque park in 2009. The place is normally included in the itinery. Adventure enthusiasts can enjoy para gliding before reaching this place. The place is covered with natural greenery with strategically placed statues well suited to the background. The waterfalls; descending in 3 stages is a view to get your cameras clicking. Overall nice yet nothing special.

An awesome place
It is located in Sikkim. It is the awesome place to visit. One can spare his/her time in the peace and under the lap of beauty. The sound which arrives to ear when water from height touches the stone is really the one which soothes our soul. If someone is in Sikkim for the trip, one can visit this place.
Beautiful waterfall, natural beauty
This waterfall is located down the hill in Gangtok, it gives amazing view of waterfall which is coming all the way from top. There are nice artificial parks created which makes this place really attractive and you cannot resist feeding your camera here with nice pose.
For the beauty of nature
We had a brief stay there while returning from ranka monastery. The place is well kept and very beautiful. It is small and can be covered in 40-45 minutes. It is basically a zigzag way made right in between lush green valley with water flowing below which comes from a waterfall situated at the end. The waterfall is a good place to have some with family and friends and to click some memorable pics. We also enjoyed there and after that had some tea and snacks available in the shops inside the place.
Beautiful and well managed water falls
Beautiful waterfalls, well managed with no litter, one can rent traditional Tibetan dresses for 50 INR, very calm and picturesque if one moves away from main spots.
A relaxed place
