Bannerghatta National Park is popular among tourists, especially nature lovers. Spread over an area of 104 sq. km, the park was inaugurated in the year 1971. Situated 21 km away from the city, this national park is abode of lions, tigers and crocodiles, among other animal species.
Tourists can opt for safari trips organised in the park, during which they can see animals in their natural habitat. Apart from lions, tigers and reptiles, the park provides natural habitat for elephants, gaurs, leopards, jackals and foxes.
