The best feature of the hotel is it's location. It's right in the HEART of Hazratganj (one of the most interesting and central places of Lucknow). This is itself provides tremendous character to the hotel. Great experiences. Ganging across the road in the evening. Wonderful places nearby (Moti quarter for sweets, Royal cafe for chaats and Chikan bazaar for shopping Lucknowi Chikan) The hotel in itself is very good - quite new (renovated I believe), compact and neat. Rooms were quite good, spacious and fresh, except for the fact that few rooms (at least the one we stayed in) don't have a open view window The restaurant is nice with a very good breakfast spread The Front Desk was always courteous and helped us in making travel arrangements and also guided on places to visit If I could only mention areas of improvement, they would be -. 1) Slightly better housekeeping (they often forgot minor things in their daily chores and had to be reminded) . 2) Better WiFi availability - the signal is weak (at least in the room we stayed). One day we couldn't connect at all (for 4-5 despite earnest support from the staff.
My wife and I stayed at the Levana for a couple of nights on a family trip to Lucknow. The hotel was located at Hazratganj, right in the heart of the city, which is probably its biggest plus. As far as the interiors are concerned, the hotel was well built and the lobby as well as the common areas are impressive. The rooms were clean and nicely done. However, one needs to be slightly careful about choosing the rooms, as our other family members were given a room which was closed from all sides, which can be a bit claustrophobic. Our room window opened to a nearby road, so a good view is something one can forget about, but I guess that's the price one has to pay for a central location. The housekeeping was reasonably quick and prompt. Breakfast was average, with the taste of the Indian items decent, and the egg chef was good. The major disappointment for us was the concierge service, which messed up in a big way when we wanted to book a hotel vehicle for a day. The result was us waiting on the road for 30 minutes and eventually having to arrange another vehicle. I hope the management gets its act together in this aspect of their service. Overall, a decent place to stay with a big plus owing to its location. Needs some polishing around the edges though to move up to the next level .
I tried this hotel just one month ago and found its services and facilities quite average and staff was really helping. Tariff was not too costly but bit overpriced according to services and facilities provided by hotel. I was having a voucher which gave me some additional discount and that price it was a pretty average hotel. Room was ordinary having basic amenities and quite spacious and very well maintained. Hotel staff was very polite and patient. Housekeeping service was bit average not very fast. Food was quite decent and had good taste, quality was also decent and taste was simple and it was quite average food. I stayed 2 days here and services were satisfactory but it can be surely improved. I hope to see some improvement in this hotel in future.
I visited this Hotel between 13th to 15th March 2015 on a business trip and found that location of the hotel was good but staff was arrogant, pathetic. The location is excellent and ambience is good but I am highly disappointed by the highly arrogant, mannerless staff. It was very painful to interact with some of them and when even the basic needs were not fulfilled. The front office manager lacked even the basic and courtesy, does not have any slightest idea how to behave with their customers who came to that hotel because of the reputation of Best Western. I was not the only case there to have those thought but I observed this happened with 3 more families. I raised this matter with their higher-ups who did some eyewash in front of us but actually did not take any action against that arrogant staff especially the front desk manager ( I believe the name of Front Desk Manager was some Mr. Jain or Mr. Anuj Jain). In my opinion that person is indeed a black spot in a city known for. If you care for your self respect, then this hotel is not recommended for you !!! Please Beware !!! They are not even bothered by complaints or bad review. See the management's response and you'll understand.
Very good location, inside a by lane in the Hazratganj area of Lucknow. This area known as shoppers zone, of branded items, shoes, Lucknowi chicken, also famous for restaurants, sweet shops and cinemas. The hotel is very comfortable. The lobby and reception area is redecorated. The main restaurant adjoining it. The reception staff, always busy but they manage to make the check-in and check-out of every guest hasslefree. The room, slightly small but very clean, nicely done up and washroom also compact with toiletries and accessories for the guests. The restaurant staff, the best, very polite and their endeavour to give the best. Room service and Housekeeping staff, no complain. WiFi complimentary with good speed. I really enjoyed my stay, in this 3 star deluxe hotel, for 2 nights.
