The Bhairavnath Devasthan is a significant religious sightseeing attraction of Rajmachi town and is situated in its Shreevardhan Fort. The site of this temple is also called as Dhak amongst the local people. Presiding deity of this temple is Lord Shiva,  worshipped here in the form of Bhairav. The architecture of this temple is similar to the Shiva temples of Konkan region.

The backdrop of this temple comprises dense forest regions providing soft breeze and cool ambience to the atmosphere. The main sanctum sanctorum of Bhairavnath Devasthan also has many other small shrines dedicated to Hindu gods and goddesses. Mahashivarathri is the popular festival in the place, during which this temple is flocked by thousands of devotees.
