There is a famous Guruvayur Temple inside the Bhuvaneshwari Temple complex.

This Bhuvaneshwari Temple is situated on a mountain at about 500 ft. The location at the backdrop of a meandering river gives a panoramic view of the city including the TELCO factory. The officials of the temple have also launched a Vedic learning project which includes informal classes.
