4K+ charge / night / person. No complimentary breakfast - charged @Rs. 300 AND such a unmitigated unambiguous unadulterated disaster. The in-house restaurant / cafe charges like a Michelin Starred place. Now 2 packaged water bottles are provided. Their own brand. No tumblers though. Rooms have no fridge & no wardrobe. You got an early morning flight @6AM and want to have a cup of tea before leaving . Sorry no kettle. If you still insist then you got to reach 1st floor of the building & wake up some one who will allow you to boil water & give you a tea bag & cup . Or something like that . Thankfully I didn't experiment. AND the TV . Placed at such an **** awkward location where you can't watch lying on bed. You have to sit in a wooden chair AND no HD channels subscribed in Airtel STBox AND no regional channels. Now the 'Piece the Resistance' is the bathroom. I mean what on earth could have dictated the design I cannot imagine. No privacy. Yes No Privacy if you want to bathe then the glass enclosed space is just in front of the bed. God forbid if you got to share the room with a colleague . AND the water closet is provided with a door secured with mortise lock. I mean what on earth where the folks thinking I am not sure . . Staff members are v friendly. WiFi is good. Location is good. But overall a giant disappointment esp at the prices.
I recently went to this property and really loved the ambience, interiors everything, it was all white with a punch of yellow. My stay was comfortable here just the beds we're small I think for me. The staff was good but sometimes they may irritate you. The watery available outside is also good. Best for some snacks & even they serve some amazing Chicken. Last, bust not the least there bed we're good as they say in there website.
In a world of cluttered property and services, any property or service with simplicity in design and execution stands out. I found one such property that is Hotel Bloomrooms, recently where I stayed for a couple of nights at their property on Link Road at Jangpura Extension in New Delhi. This hotel which is one of two such at Delhi aims to simplify hotel stays and by removing most frills (which most guests at hotels invariably don't use but pay for anyway) attempts to price itself lower and more importantly deliver a memorable experience to the guest They have simple straight lines in their design all over and with yellow being the only non white colour in use, they create a distinct impression about their name, design and colours. Even the check-in form is very simple (just about 30-40% of a A4 size Page) and gets filled in quickly for the guest to be given a card key at the reception which is manned by one person in a small space (about 2 X 2 ft. )At the entrance, dressed in a yellow. The card key is thoughtfully enclosed in a cover which has on one side map of the surrounding area per chance one gets lost on the way back and also directions to the nearby Delhi Metro station There is no elevator, so one has to take a flight of stairs if their room (one of 39) is at the first or second floor (Indian). The room is a 110 sq. Ft. One, with no subsections and everything visible from anywhere. There is a large sized bed with some space within the head board for storage. They have a cushioned section on the wall at the bed for those fond of watching TV while on the bed. They have a large in-lit switch at bed for those afraid of the dark! A cleverly placed safe deposit locker below the cot helps stow away valuables. There is one small work table with a small chair (only seating in the room)at one corner with a Reading lamp (hadn't seen one in a long time since my high school days). A noiseless (remember the ads) Daikin air conditioner rounds off the room amenities with the LCD TV on one wall. I found that they don't have switches for the electrical plug in points which is a major relief (I have multiple horror stories of playing, find me if you can switches of lights that could not get shut off at hotel rooms being one of dozens of switches hotels revel in putting in their rooms, god knows for what). Plug in your phone charger or laptop pin and start charging the devices right-away as these points have no switches. There is no cupboard (which to me is a great relief as one has lesser chances of leaving something behind in it at check-out) On one wall, they have a frame and a stand below it for all storage! There is a collapsible stool on which one can keep suitcases. Hangers are thoughtfully provided on the frame for clothes. The shower cubicle and the toilet adjoin the hand-wash basin provided with a mirror. No toiletries other than the liquid shampoo and shower gel at the shower cubicle (with a glass door) and hand-wash soap at the basin. So, within the room everything is within a short distance and the room itself is spotless and pleasant. A water station on each floor at the corridor provides water through the day and coffee and tea in the morning. A small restaurant offers food through the day and has a simple menu for basic food (mostly baked and probably targeted at foreign tourists). A melange of pictures from all over, including jokes and cartoons add a light touch the Amici restaurant which the hotel informs us is a well-known Italian eatery in town. They have a small white shuttle (for about 10-12 persons) that drops off guests to nearby destinations free of cost. A lounge above the restaurant has with internet access, collection of books and a travel desk. They also have a wall mounted I-Mac at the ground floor near the reception which one has to work on standing (some exercise! ). The hotel is complete with the sunken garden at the entrance where one can relax in the outdoors. Smoking is not allowed within the hotel but outside the restaurant (and probably helps the hotel keep itself clean and well smelling). They charge Rs. 3500 for a single occupancy room which seems reasonable. The stay experience was made pleasant by the friendly staff (down to the driver of the shuttle) which complements the hotel's great design and simple processes. If in doubt simplify is what all businesses should be doing and I found Bloomrooms following this philosophy to the hilt. Here is to their success!
I had to stay in Delhi for two days with a friend to attend to some events there. I opted for Bloomrooms Hotel after I saw a recommendation for it on a site . . I chose a budget room for my stay. I had asked for an early check-in over the mail but got a discouraging reply. However, when I landed up at the hotel early, they checked us in without any hassle at all. A 2 PM check-in is rather late for visitors, I feel right from this point on-wards, we had only a lovely experience there. Our room was clean, the bathroom very neat and provided with two large, two face towels with the soaps and shampoos in place. Our bunk beds were very comfortable. Our pillows. Covers and sheets were very clean and adequate. I am saying this as I have stayed at budget hotels where the covers barely cover your body and are scratchy and uncomfortable There was a dashboard on our floor with mineral water available. It had hold and cold taps. There was a stash of tea bags and dry milk sachets for anyone who fancied a cup of tea or coffee. There was a big jar of fruit infused water available for all visitors There was a comfortable seating in the veranda outside our room, in the common area. It was very inviting and I looked forward to sitting there with a cup of tea in hand The breakfast cost us extra @250/- per person, taxes extra. It was a big buffet spread with toast, butter, jam, cornflakes, fruit on the counter. There were containers of juice, cold tea, coffee, and tea. Apart from this you could ask for eggs, idli, Paratha, pancakes and Upma The staff were unfailingly polite and accommodating. When we were to leave, we asked for our luggage to be held for a few hours. They did that readily and put tags on the bags so they would be tamper proof. When needed, we were provided with taxi's (at extra cost) We were given WiFi connections on arrival, and the signal was very strong. It helped us complete our tasks in the evening without any hitch The only drawbacks were the size of the rooms and the state of the towels. The room I took (the least priced one) was quite tiny and needed some sort of an exhaust. It was not hot enough for an air conditioner, so it got quite stuffy in there at times. I am rather apprehensive about how it would be in the hot summer months. The towels we got were clean but not laundered well. They were rather stiff and scratchy. They need to pull up the laundry department. Also, the towels could be changed daily, as they do not dry properly post Bath and we were forced to use damp towels all the time But the whole hotel is very clean and smells nice. The cafeteria is quite capable of providing small meals. They could add a dinner buffet, It would be great if people could eat right there at times It is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Delhi in the budget bracket. No wonder it was overflowing with guests.
Bloomrooms Hotel at Railway Station is a great choice for short city stay. Best suitable for the people travelling to other cities having connecting trains from New Delhi Railway Station. Location is very convenient. Hotel is a good choice for short stay. Rooms are classified according to your requirement. Best suitable for solo travellers. Rooms have all the modern facilities. Rooms are bit small but very welding and clean. WiFi is free and reasonably fast. My room also had a flat screen TV with satellite channels. Food (not included in room price) is available at Amici Cafe. They do not have room service. The hotel has a free shuttle bus every hour, which can take you to the Station or Metro Stop. Overall, nice experience. If you are planning to visit New Delhi stay in this hotel.
Location is very close to New Delhi railway station and there are two places Bloomsroom is available. This review is for the which is nearby Delhi railway station. We planned to go to Agra in Shatapthi next day morning 6. 30 am and they arranged the cab for it as well. Their service as awesome and room was compact one with necessary things at right place. Bathrooms are very good and whole hotel is based on white and yellow theme, WiFi Internet is really fast no buffering. Please choose the room inside facing not the road facing one, as the road is very busy at nights may get noisy at times and ambience wise inside facing rooms are have better corridor
Me and my family had a awesome journey there. All rooms was beautiful and full of services. This hotel is near railway station so there is lot of rush. Their services were great and all the staff was helpful. We had lots of dining options there. We stayed there for 4 days. We had a very good stay there.
