The hotel was located outside the city. The appearance of the hotel was good. The check in and checkout was not delayed. The behaviour of the staff's was good. The room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was not provided in the hotel. The food was value for money. I use any activities conducted by this hotel. I had visited this hotel for my personal trip.

The appearance of the hotel was good. The service was good. The food was good with quality and quantity but they given extra charges for that. The price of the food was reasonable. I had visited this hotel with my family. I would recommend this hotel to upcoming travellers. I don’t have suggestion for the hotel to improve any things in the hotel.

5.1/7
Posted 8 Mar, 2016

It is awesome resort. Very good place for couple. We really enjoyed it. This resort is located @ Bheemashankar forest. It is around 120 KM from Pune by road. In resort has very good rooms along with lavish furniture. Nice view of forest area. Food is more delicious. In that I like Masala Dosa very much. Fantastic service. I compare rates along with other resorts it looks little bit expensive. But its okay for good enjoyment

Hotel is quite good. Better than my expectation. People are nice and cooperative. They help a lot. Room service is good. Care takers are nice and polite. Rates are little bit high but worth it. Food quality is overall satisfying. But menu should be more. Overall environment is peaceful. One can surely opt for it.

Resort with good facility to relax & enjoy nature

5.5/7
Posted 24 Oct, 2015

We went in May first Week of 2015- to visit Bhimashanker- Resort has minimum facilities but maximum Nature. It was very nice in the evening & Night also in the early morning. You can book a Trek in the forest with guide and watch flying squirrel. Food was good in the restaurant. But don't follow GPS route. Ask for a good route before you start. Your Cell phone may not work there except BSNL.

Good food and excellent surrounding

5.7/7
Posted 6 Aug, 2015

This place has excellent scenic and picturesque views, usually rains whole year, even in summer, rain is unpredictable, carry rain coats and umbrella, best resort in this area 4 kms away from the Bhimashankar temple. Here BSNL post paid works, no WiFi facility, no A/C, its required here, place is cool even in summer. Food is very good, made to order, excellent place to enjoy with nature, this place is also in wild life zone for Cheetahs. Hot water is available 24 hrs, please aware of mosquitoes while staying in cottages in this resort, other wise hotel offers good accommodation and very good food. We can enjoy total privacy. No TV facility also here, this area is in passing clouds.

Absolutely fantastic but maintenance is neglected

4.4/5
Posted 20 Jun, 2013

The cotages are very good and even deluxe rooms are good to stay. The reception is very courteous and the service is excellent. Food is very tasty and the ambience of the rooms very good. Ideal locatio where one can relax and enjoy the stay. Location is just like in a jungle. A mixed experience really. Let me start with the positives. Location is absolutely fantastic, property area is huge. You can take many pleasant walks in and around the property. At this time of the year, we could see many butterflies, birds & wild flowers. There are a couple of small ponds in and around the property which add to its charm. They have hotel rooms as well as independent cottages. We had taken an economical cottage which had a bed room and a hall and sleeping arrangements for 5. The individual cottages are scattered around the property. The food was simple but quite good. Since it was a busy weekend, the resort had buffets for both lunch and dinner @ Rs.150/-. The staff at the counter and around the resort are polite and helpful. Now the negatives, the maintenance of the property is really neglected. The furniture is old, cleanliness in the rooms is not upto the mark, did not really appreciate the bedsheets. The bathroom was leaky. This resort has so much potential, its really bad that they are not exploiting it. Also since the property is big, the cottages are scattered over the area, so if you have senior citizens with you, its best to have your own vehicle to take them to and fro to the restaurant. There is no intercom in the rooms. So God forbid if you need anything, you will have to take the walk upto the main bldg, whose distance depends on the cottage you have been given. The management should really address this issue very very urgently. Bhimashankar itself is beautiful with lovely grasslands on one side and thick deep forest on the other. However it is not easily accessible. Hence your own transport is a must. Blue Mormon is around 10 kms away from the main temple. Apart from the devotees who wish to visit one of the Jyotirlings in India, Bhimashankar is a trekker\'s paradise. There are many trails into the forest and the services of locals as guides are arranged by the staff at the resort. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, It is okay for a one night stay.

Blue Mormon is situated 10 km before Bhimashankar,...

4.8/5
Posted 13 Mar, 2010

Blue Mormon is situated 10 km before Bhimashankar, and has a grand setup. It covers approximately 4 acres of land, and is surrounded by valleys on three sides. The accommodations are spacious, elegant, and clean. This applies for the cottages, the suites, and the dormitories. The hospitality provided by Mr. Patil, and his staff is highly plausible. The cuisine too is one zone where you have no chance to complain! What steals your heart is the presence of a private lake, the strawberry fields, and a temple that is built at the vertex of one of the valley. The sunrise and sunset locates are astounding, and seem to be tailored for the view. The presence of well equipped playground establishes the diligence in constructing the resort. Lastly, the Helipad, adds a feather to the cap, which ends the curiosity of numerous people to witness a one. Earlier, Bhimashankar was a one day visit, and especially for the trekkers, but now it’s a destination for an overnight family outing! We definitely plan to visit during the next season.

Blue Mormon is a nice place for relaxing holidays...

3.1/5
Posted 26 Nov, 2006

Blue Mormon is a nice place for relaxing holidays as well as trekking! I was surprised to conclude after my 2 days trip that I should have planned for 3 days if I wanted to have good mix of relaxation and trekking. Best relaxations at Blue Mormon are early morning walk to Valley View point within the resort, and if you want more saunter on to the artificial lakes that are at walking distance from the resort. Clean water of the lakes are a delight to watch in the early morning calmness, as well as late evening when reflection of trees on water is very sharp! The evening can be enjoyed with boating on the lake and a walk to the sunset point - 10 minutes of brisk walk from the resort. The day time can be spent visiting the temples, jungle trails or trekking to hanuman lake, nagfani, and Bhimashankar wildlife sanctuary. The resort\'s website also offers good inputs for planning your trip well.

The experience in itself was great. We were new to Mumbai and we had to get in touch with the resort staff at various points before reaching the place. The response was really excellent. Although we had checked the right route from the Web sites, we found that the route via Malshejghat was extremely breathtaking.
