Blue Pine Hotel
Police Bazaar, Shillong , Shillong
The hotel appearance was good. WiFi facility was available in the room. All basic amenities were provided in the room. I didn't taste food from the hotel. The activity was not arranged by the hotel. Parking facility was not available at the hotel.
I stayed there for two days and three nights. We went to Shillong for holidays. The hotel is located at the end of police bazaar. So you need to walk down the road It's not like the general multi story ed hotel with lavish parking and all. They have converted a floor of a shopping complex into a hotel with its own dedicated entrance. The entrance is maintained and decorated The manager, Mr. Khan is very polite person. He greeted us with a warm smile and took care of all our needs personally. There is a personal touch in their hospitality: Be it the manager, the cook, the housekeeping or any other staff. The service provided is quite mesmerizing The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, and also to some extent lavish.
I travelled to Shillong and stayed in the Blue Pine hotel. It was convenient to locate the hotel and it was close to the city. The surrounding of the hotel was good. There was no delay in check-in and check-out. The interior and exterior appearance of the hotel was average and the service of the staff in the hotel was average too. I ate food in the hotel, it was good in quality and the price was reasonable too. The room allotted to me was good, and it was maintained with basic amenities in working condition. The stay in the hotel was good and it was value for money. I will recommend this hotel to other travellers and the destination was excellent.
So my stay was only for 4 days and we were in room 212, 213, 214, 215. The staff are really polite and they don't give proper service very helpful loyal and spontaneous. The hotel is huge and beautiful what a view and the rooms, lobby, reception was very clean. Food was safe and tasty and I really enjoyed my stay and would love to go again. Stayed January 2015, travelled with family.
Overall a nice place to stay. Good service, Good manager. Lots of Restaurants outside, actually is in main Police Bazaar of Shillong, even then remains quiet in the rooms. Available in Budget Prices. 2 minutes walk to Police Bazaar, place to eat, shop and roam around.
One night stay with family and the hotel is centrally located with small hotel was an average experience. Rooms were small and the wash-rooms were a joke of a strip, so cramped that even a casual turn would mean a bump on the wall. Uninterested staff and particularly in the restaurant during the breakfast gives you a feeling that they are feeding you.
We stayed here for two nights before leaving to the countryside of Meghalaya. After having arrived in Shillong we searched for a cheap hotel, as we did not book one in advance. It turned out to be a very difficult task and all the budget-places (our budget wasn't a lot for accommodations) were all completely booked out because of the arriving Durga Puja festival. So we roamed around the police market to find a suitable location. The owner of this hotel (also the owner of the Rainbow Hotel) gave us a special price for the basic room (I think the usual price is about Rs 800), very nice and helpful guy. We were also able to store our luggage there for almost a week for free as we didn't want to take all of it to the countryside. Recommended for people who can afford the price or backpackers who are out of options (try to haggle).
The overall experience in the hotel was good it was conveniently located. The hotel was very close to the marketplace it was near the railway station. The stay was very nice and would like to recommend this hotel for other travellers. The suggestion has been night service was not good. The staff were good, but night service was not that great. There was no delay in check-in and check-out. The room was quiet, spacious neat and clean the amenities like TV, air conditioner, hot water facility was provided. Overall the hotel stay was very comfortable .
Its about a Grand hotel. Its too costly. Have more rooms. I booked the hotel for 2 nights and stayed there. The food were good and tasty. I like the rooms. It was too clean and neat. The service were quick and staff were quick to serve, I shall give it 4 star. The room decoration was too good.
Nice Hotel. Marks the gone era, rooms are cottage style with fire place. Some newly renovated rooms, housekeeping is decent and food quality is fine. Good Place for short holidays. I stayed at the Swagath Holiday Resort for several days. The main building is 4 stories, but the property also includes villas and row houses. Most rooms are air conditioned.
