Shoppers paradise

This is the place for shopping. All the brands are available here. The proximity to big malls and multiplexes and pubs add to the party nature of the area. This is the place to visit on new years eve.

Explore the side lanes

This is a busy street, but you will truly miss out on the experience if you miss out on the side lanes that stem out of it. Some great pubs, eateries and second book stores there.

Pays to explore on foot

It seems a bit odd to review a road. The M. G. Road / Brigade road of Bengaluru is the most happening street of Bengaluru. This road is irresistibly famous for the number of Bank Branches it has in a short span. It hosts a major Metro train station, it has a Police Parade Ground on one side, Famous buildings with many shopping, cinema complexes on the other side. MG Road connects to the Residency road that runs parallel to it through another famous road called the Brigade Road, which has many shops. This place is always busy and walking on the street is quite a challenge. There's the Metro of course and more shops than you realise. At weekends there are often exhibitions along the garden walkway across the road from the shops.

A Busy Commercial Place

It is one of the most visited road in the city. It is one-way road, starting from M G Road, connecting down to Hosur Road. It is considered a posh shopping area as well as a popular meeting place for the youngsters because of many eating joints. India's first KFC outlet was started here. Over the years, the road has become very congested due to increase in vehicular traffic. Half of the road width is always occupied by parked 2 & 4-wheelers, making it very difficult for the pedestrians to move about. Surroundings are fairly clean but ongoing always lead to construction material piled up on the pavements. It is well illuminated in the nights. It even has a good cinema theatre but locating a parking place is always a hassle.

Overrated and Overcrowded

Brigade road is nice and good for people who like to see people from different regions of the world. You can see people from Nigeria, North east, arab countries. But I feel due to lack of parking space brigade road looks over crowded. Best thing in brigade road is church street where you can sit in any of the cafe and relax.
