Brother's Guest House, Gangtok

It was a really excellent experience staying at Brother Guest House. It feels like staying in a four star hotel. All our journey tiredness gets revealed in one night. You can't even believe everyone stayed in the hotel and did not go for travelling. The bed and bedding were perfect. Light ingredients are excellent. The best part is the morning view. The sunrise on Kanchenjunga was clearly visible which is the best lighting I have ever seen. The mountains and clouds are touching each other. The Tista with a beautiful sound and mixing with hundreds of fountains narrowing itself which is really a scenic beauty. Anyway, it was an excellent experience. We will definitely look forward for GOD'S OWN Gangtok once more.

Location of the hotel is on the MG route which is a big plus. The rooms are very good, well furnished, clean, spacious. Mt. Kanchenjunga is visible from room on a sunny morning. Room service is excellent. Hospitality is warm. Vegetarian food is good. Travel desk of hotel organized trip to Nathula pass within a short notice and arranged the permits. It would be good if non veg food could be served and liquor is allowed.

The Hotel is located in the heart of the city at M G route, with all facilities in and around. The Location of the Hotel makes it very easy and convenient for us who have planned to go and enjoy the city tour Excellent rooms makes the trip more pleasant and luxurious. Great time to relax when such quality of room is available at such reasonable price The service and the behavior of the personals make you feel more better and increases the reputation of the hotel.

Overall hotel was fine. Only problem was that food was not available there. Services were very good and staff was helpful. Room condition was excellent. There was a view of Kanchenjunga from the hotel. Hotel was in the main market. Location was very good and outer appearance was average. There was no problem in booking and procedure was very good. Gangtok as a place was good.

I visited the Brother's Guest house in later half of the day with my parents in the second week of December for spending the vacations in Gangtok, Sikkim coming from a horrific hotel experience from Darjeeling. Earlier I was a bit skeptical that how the rooms could be as compared to that of the hotel from Darjeeling, but believe me, from location to front desk to the rooms, everything won my heart the moment I entered this place Everything was properly organized in the rooms. Rooms were spacious, ventilated and having a very nice view of Mall Road, which was beautifully decorated because of winter festival My advice to all my friends out there, please spend some quality family time in Gangtok. Book your rooms well in advance because believe me, after spending one vacation in this Guest House, you won't stop applauding for this place.
