The rooms are rustic and charming

Cafe Paradise is set against the backdrop of the stunningly beautiful Mulshi Lake. The resort has a lovely rustic charm which blends extremely well with the lush, natural surroundings . The food is absolutely yummy . Authentic . The Makke Di Roti, Sarson Da Saag and Lassi are straight out of Punjab . The place surely warrants a visit and spending an entire weekend would be pure heaven. The rooms are rustic and charming. I surely enjoy every visit . And recommend it highly.

Average hotel I like only food in the hotel

I visited this hotel in the month of March 2017. I went to the hotel for holiday trip with my spouse. We had been for relaxing. I would rate the destination as good hence I like temple. My hotel location was average since it is far from city and in ant the land mark was not perfect. I would rate the appearance good hence I like lobby. Best way to reach the hotel is by car. The front office was average hence we faced problem in reception. Service was good as the staff were quick and prompt. I booked the hotel through online. I would rate my room as average since it was normal and it was very congested with no window. Food was very good. WiFi facility was available in the hotel. Overall it is good stay. Food was good and I liked very much.

Overall, a good place

It was a good place near the city and was on prime location by which one can go easily everywhere they want. In that just car taxis were available where one can drive the taxi car as self driven car. And at very low price nearly Rs. 12 per km. However the service was average but due to prime location it was very good.

Not a great place to stay

Service was not. Edible food. Be ready for being humiliated. Only high born staff work here. We were group of around 15 people looking for night out near Pune. We heard cafe Paradise is good place for guys to go out preferably for booze party. Well scenery is okay not that great. A fine stone constructed building and infrastructure kept reasonably clean, but dare you. They don't have enough rest rooms and whatever is there is dirty. Nice amphi theatre and small useless child play area. Staff of around 4-6 ignorant arrogant people to serve. All services are provided till 11:00PM only, later they won't entertain you. They will take whole amount and extra security deposit in advance or at time of check in. Food and beverage bills also you need to pay instantly, when you order it Well, that was abstract, below is how it went. We Arrived at cafe Paradise around 6:30PM Friday 18-04-2015. After parking our car in parking area we saw 3-4 beautiful breed of dogs caged in a area with message board Guarded by professionally trained dog, we felt safe. Then another board don't be afraid of the dogs, beware of the owner this board had pistol printed on it. Now, we thought it was really creative and funny. But should have understood that was somewhat a reality. It took them 1 hour to set up our dormitory, no water was served till table was set around 8:00PM. Also they said they would charge 10% extra to set tables near amphi theatre, as we were lot of people could not be accommodated in usual seating area. Single small bowl of ice costs 30/- rupees, which is mostly free in all restaurant & resorts. Costly edible starters, and costly worthless lunch & dinner. They argued on charging extra money in percentage on almost every service they provide. Only thing to appreciate that they did not disturb us when we were boozing. Passed 11:00 PM we were not even offered water to drink. Also Services start at sharp 8:00 Am or later not before that in morning. We woke up early around 6:00AM on Saturday to go for a walk, and look at scenic beauty. We were expecting a tea or coffee, but staff was wide spread sleeping and when we woke him up he ignored us and told services will start at 8:00AM only. Early morning all people were waiting without good rest-room services, no water, nothing to eat. We told that manager we needed to leave so we can have breakfast early somewhere else. He told us he can't pay as he does not have money to pay back security deposit Another incident, young guy in our group boozed a little high and puked. We asked staff to clean and told would pay for it, answer we got was all people here are from high cast (from Utterances & Uttarakhand or some place), we do not do this kind of work. Now we were really angry on this response from that guy, but since it was our guys mistake and we did not wanted scene and enjoy our time there we requested him to do it, he agreed by charging us around 400/- to clean a single tile. I still not understand if they are such a high born then why they are working as serving staff. There are more small disturbing incidents, but this are few I would share here.

Food is very expensive and quality is pathetic

I have visited this hotel 2 times. Service is pathetic. Food is very expensive and quality is pathetic. This hotel is owned by Punjabi family. Very rude family. The people seating at reception counter are very rude. I don't know what they think of themselves. What you can do is, you can visit this hotel.
