Tourist attraction Chail

I travelled to Chail in August 2013. It is a costlier place for Food. As far as travelling is concerned there are very few attractions as follows: Cricket ground (Asia's Highest Height cricket ground). The whole place comes under Army cantonment area with full Soldier's Monitoring. Other than this there are 2 Temples around the hill at some height. Therefore I recommend you not to expect much from this place!

Calm and quite a small hill station

We visited Chail, a small hill station which is 44 km. Far away from Shimla. Chail is famous for Maharaja Palace which was built by the Maharaja of Patiala during the British Raj. Chail is also famous for the well maintained cricket ground which is the highest cricket ground in the world. The ground is surrounded by thick forests of deodar.

Touch the clouds

Nice scenery and food. In Chail, clouds were on our head, felt as though we were touching them. We felt very happy there
