Go only if you are religious

This temple is of much importance to the followers of Hinduism. But, unfortunately it is not well-maintained in terms of cleanliness. May be I would have liked the place if I was a religious person. Several Hindu rituals were seen to be performed here. A person took about INR 30 from us (a group of 12 people) as a fee for entrance.

A very old lord Shiva temple

Tourists who want to see a very old Lord Shiva temple may visit Chandaneswar. This temple a few kilometer away from Digha beach. Rental car and auto are available from Digha beach to go there. The temple is not so clean and not well maintained. Tourists are recommended not to wore shoes as shoes are not allowed inside the temple they may wore sandals.

Beautiful temple

Chandreshwar near Digha is known for the Chandreshwar temple. It is in Odisha state and is on the way to Talsari. So, if you are on your way to Talsari from Digha or vice versa, you may stop by here and pay a visit.

Seek blessings from lord Shiva

Chandaneshwar is temple of lord Shiva. The building of temple is nice. It is nearly 7-8 km from new Digha. Many autos and taxis are available in Digha to take you around. If you go to Digha go there once, and seek blessing of lord Shiva.
