Flowers of different kinds

We went there in the evening and it was full of tourists. But the garden was big enough for all of them . The various kinds & colours of flowers all around will compel you to admire the place. And to add to that, a stream of spring water flows through the middle of the garden . . Really loved it!

Memorable and pleasant time to stay!

The Chasme Shahi- Royal Spring as the garden is constructed across the spring. It's one of the most beautiful Mughal garden among Shalimar bagh and nishat bagh. Last week, I visited here. As this attraction free to public visit from March to November. My guide suggested that the best time to visit here in May-June when the flowers in Chashme Shahi are full bloom. You can reach here by road along the Dal lake banks or hire a taxi; whatever way you can afford. But my holiday agency hired a taxi, just half an hour away from the Srinagar international airport. The hotel accommodations around Chashme Shahi are excellent. Food quality were hygienic. Thanks to Vani Holidays for managing such a great stay.

Very nice place

Visited Chashm-E- Shahi Garden during Srinagar visit in July 2015 which is located near Governer House. Chashme Shahi means Royal Spring. It is built near the spring and the water flows out from water body. The water is crystal clear and is believed to have medicinal properties.

Beautiful garden with natural spring

Garden is neat, clean and beautiful, main attraction here is natural spring (Chashma). Chashma is beautiful. Nothing much to see other than the Chashma, it took us 15min to complete the sightseeing. Good thing is that all the gardens are in close proximity to each other so no time gets wasted in travel.

A good garden with excellent views all around

Worth visit it in summer, as it is in the way to Pari Mahal, So one can cover both attractions in a single shot. If there is cloudy day then it will be a heaven, However in winter I don't think it remains as beautiful as in summer (March to May). So depend on the season and personal taste. Recommended to visit both Pari Mahal and Chasme Shahi if you are in Srinagar.

Disappointing experience

It was a big dis-appointment visiting this place as the pump was down for maintenance during visiting hours and we all missed the beautiful view of Spring & fountains. Ideally maintenance should have been carried out during off-hours like after sunset or before 9AM so that visitors don't have to go-back with a disappointment.

Night times the place glitters with light

Chashm-e-shahi name made for the charna for the light water in the park. The light water is very healthy, this park in the night has lighting also in the park you can eat some food but no shops are available to purchase.
