The abode of Goddess Ambareshwari also known as Chaturshringi

The Chaturshringi Temple, Pune The Chaturshringi temple is situated in a small hillock in the Senapati Bapat Marg, Pune. There are about 100 odd wide steps to climb to reach the top and have darshan of Goddess Ambareshwari, the presiding deity of Pune. Good place to get some exercise along with blessings !

This is a very old temple of Goddess Chatushrungi, an incarnation of Adi Shakti, located on a hill on Senapati Bapat Road. It is frequented by regular worshippers and tourists alike at all times of the year. The temple has around a 100 steps to climb till you can reach the deity. Approx 15 minutes of cardio, one way !! It is a very peaceful place and you can feel the positive vibe resonating all around. The deity is beautiful and said to fulfill your wishes. Once you seek the blessings of the deity, you can navigate to the top of the hill and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the top. There are some food stalls at the foothill too. Parking facilities are not adequate though. During Navratri, the nine day festival falling in October/November every year and every tuesday, there is a huge crowd visiting the temple. So preferably visit the temple at other times to avoid rush.

Must climb high, old people avoid it

It is very famous temple, but there are around 100 steps to reach this temple. Pooja items are available near temple. Camera and footwear not allowed. If aged persons are there then its difficult to climb the steps as its in top of a mountain.
