Sunset view

This was the final place we visited during our Andaman trip. We were told to witness sunset. We did not find anything spectacular about it. We were told not to enter sea water as there were crocodiles. If you have time you may go for trekking through the woods and hill approximately 1. 5 km long. Nothing great about the place.

Excellent place

It's a must visit place if you are in andaman, I hired a cab from Port Blair. It's famous for its sunset view. The water is unbelievably shallow and crystal clear I moved like 60 metres in to the water and the water was around my knees the jungle is dense and benches are carved out of tree log it looks really nice. This place is a scenic beauty, picturesque, arresting, charming and pleasant. Photographers do visit this place. You can visit alone or with friends or family this place is just awesome and very much different from beaches.

One of the best beach scenery wise

This beach is not too big but surrounded by hills, it looks very very good. There is a small park which also looks very good. The sunset view is astonishing. Located 30 km from Port Blair, this place is worth visiting.

Not recommnded to take so much pain

First of all it is too far from Port Blair. It takes around 45 mins from the city. When I visited Munda Pahar Beach in Chidiya tapu it was close because Crocodile was seen some time back. It has sunset point also, you can see sunset if the weather is good.

Natural trail

Chidiya Tapu is the Southernmost tip of South Andaman, about 27kms from Port Blair City. Lush green Mangroves, rocky shores, sandy beaches with the breathtaking sunset makes the spot picturesque site. Chidiya Tapu a more to offer for adventure lovers, a trekking trail to MUNDHA PAHAD.

A romantic gateway !!!

Awesome point. To reach here you have to pass through a ever green forest. Awesome journey that was. Place is small but amazing. Don't forget to have bhel over there with coconut water. Important thing is that closing time of beach is 5 pm.

Awesome Sunset of my Life

It is a less known place and a little far away. Nut a must for visiting. During low tides, you can walk on the beaches deep inside. Lovely birds and the sunset during evening. Even during the journey, the sea goes parallel to you and lovely scenic beauty.

Beautiful place to see

Chidiya Tapu is beautiful to see. Myself with family enjoyed a lot ' my daughter aged 11yrs enjoyed more in sea waves'. There is natural beauty of green sea facility like food but parking are not upto mark. There should be some improvement in cleaning the Tapu.

It's an underrated place but it has some best sightseeing

I will say it beat our expectations when we reached that place. It's a place where you have not seen before and can't find a copy of that anywhere else. I will say its one of the best place on Port Blair I have seen and will love to go again. Beautiful sunset, water and hills, nature at its peak of beauty. It's bit far from Port Blair around 25 km but its worth going. I had my honeymoon there and had some most memorable pics I ever had.
