I stayed in this hotel to attend a conference at Jaipur. It is a 170 years old house of a joint family. With some modification made into a hotel. Unless you tell C scheme Duleshwar Garden, no cab driver will be able to take you to this place. Any big house is a palace at Rajasthan. The older couple made a modern house at the back yard. They live there and got a connecting way to the hotel. Both of them take turns to look after the management. They speak good English and translate our queries to the servants. The room is big with sofas, table, huge wooden cots, old type TV, water jug, tumblers etc. Except soap (if you demand) no other toiletries kept in the leaking Bath room. Better to take at least moisturisers for November trip. The hot water does not come even after many buckets of water poured out. Geyser back up was put on at request and a bucket of hot water was collected and kept in my bathroom. Most of the old arches were kept. The furniture is all wood and antic. The dining hall has small windows up leading to attic on either side. Small windows down to open to the veranda. Old painting of the wall is preserved. The lamps and shades give palatial look, though CFL is inside. Wiring is external. With 2 old rings in the ceiling the fan is hung with an iron rod. Very nice way of protecting the old ceiling painting. Few steps lead to the backyard. There is the swimming pool - old pond. From outside the board is not seen. The entrance is not visible from the road. If you enter, an old palaki is kept in a small garden. Few steps take you to the narrow reception. Then comes a big hall with sofas and chairs. The door stoppers are lion head statue! An open space with 8 chairs is a treat for the guests. On 2 sides row of rooms are there. One can relax and use the open space and big veranda. Not only the couple, even other staff are very helpful and look after you as their own kith and kin. For breakfast, they keep simple and tasty upma/aloo Paratha, banana, toast, boiled. Scrambled egg and tea/coffee - all personally served though buffet. They even gave me sandwiches for my way back. WiFi works in a small area only. It is better to have some data on your phone. They arrange taxis and Uber if you request.
This heritage hotel is actually a hidden gem located in the Prime location in C scheme, which is in the center of Jaipur city. It is a property owned by the Chomu royal family The hotel has a pleasing, royal yet home like ambience, with well appointed rooms, an airy and very pretty lobby, a courtyard where one can relax, have breakfast, sip a coffee or read a book. A pool at back and a dining hall with beautiful Rajasthani mural hand painting The staff is very attentive, polite, noninterference and very hospitable. They go on about their work quietly and efficiently. The hotel is very clean and the bed linen, the blankets, towel etc are very clean and hygienic too This hotel is one of the most pleasant and homely stays in Jaipur. The food is also simple, well priced and delicious to the palette I would love visit this hotel again and enjoy the hospitality of the place.
Everything was excellent and acceptable in the hotel. They did not arrange any sighting trip. Activities were okay-okay. Food was fantastic with different qualities and varieties. Room was spacious but it was not high standard. Check-in and check-out process was average. Hotel staff was quick and fast. This hotel is recommendable and worth money paid. I traveled there with my colleagues in June month. Basically I belong from Ahmedabad city.
I was on family vacation. It was nice hotel, with cooperative staff. Hotel owner also met us personally. Location of hotel is midway between Railway station and City palace. So surroundings are not crowded. It is not like a palace but I can say it is small Haveli with modern amenities. Television set was old, bathroom was very small but the atmosphere was good. I suggest you to stay.
I reached the Hotel Late evening. The staff received me with a warm welcome. Things are well managed and food is excellent. Guests have been taken care of in royalty. Rooms are well designed and pool adds the extra fun. All the staff is courteous and friendly and as this is the family's ancestral and traditional home, you get personal service from the owners. The building has real atmosphere and is in a quiet street. A gracious and pleasant stay overall.
Visited Jaipur for recreational activities and for rejuvenation of my family from boredom. Overall we loved Jaipur (pink city) for its friendly people, cleanliness, nice weather, adequate mix of modern and ancient India, comparatively better administration and infrastructure in place to name few. Chirmi hotel was a great place to stay in the most accessible area and heart of Jaipur. Hotel is, I believe, an ancient Jaipur Haveli preserved and have the elegance and feeling of contemporary Jaipur life style. Food was great. Living here made us felt like home. Overall, the hotel stay was a wonderful experience. The only thing I would recommend is to improve the parking facility, cleanliness and housekeeping. For future travelers, I would recommend this hotel for stay.
When I traveled to Goa then I stayed in Neelam the Grand. It is located nearby Calangute Beach. Hotel inner and outer look was fine. Online booking can be done also. There were no problems with booking service to get the room. Booking and front office service was very good. Services were excellent. Rooms were very fine. Food was superb. There were outdoor activities like gym, swimming pool, etc available. I went there with my wife in the month of May. It was a romantic trip.
