Nice place
Nice place, but we can't expect any facilities and dangerous too. You can hangout with lots of friends. But seriously nice place for one day trip. We enjoyed a lot.

Beautiful and natural place
It's a natural and beautiful place, 80km from Bangalore city. Route starts from Bangalore- Kanakapura road. When reached in Kanakapura follow through Kanakapura-Sangam road. In the middle of Kanakapura Sangam road we can see the entrance road to chunchi falls, from that entrance the road is bad of gutters. The people having own vehicle can visit this place easily. Very few KSRTC(Karnataka) buses also doing services. Rainy weekend holidays are the best time to visit this fall, other than the rainy season it's very difficult to find out water but we can enjoy the natural beauty. In holidays there will be some shops in the spot, we can enjoy this place only in group. If the water is there its danger place better don't step into water.

Peaceful and Serene
This tourist attraction is not marketed well. Hence, the Chunchi falls is untouched by human encroachment that destroys natural beauty. Visited the place during sunrise and find it cool, peaceful and serene. The nearby village and farms are soothing for the eyes that are used to see concrete jungle.

Excellent place to enjoy a deserted waterfall
Chunchi Falls is a waterfall located around 100 kms from the center of Bangalore. You need to have your own mode of transportation as a public transport wont be able to take you there (as I mentioned-"a deserted waterfall"). Going in a SUV also won't be a good idea as I don't think the village roads are broad enough for the same, but do try your luck as I could see a 4-wheeler there.Don't forget to use your GPS as the way is very tricky and I also suggest you take the help of locals there for directions, be 100% sure of the direction you are going as you won't see any sign board or anything. According to me it is probably one of the few places in India where you won't see too many people. The waterfall is amazing and the water is so clean with no sign of thrown bottles and empty Lays packets in the water swimming along with you. If you are planning to take a bath, which I would suggest you definitely should please get a towel as I forgot that.
