Ranked 3 of 15 sightseeing in Bardez

Coco Beach, which is often visited by Goan families for picnic, is one of the most popular  beaches in Goa. Palm trees and the sand on the seashore enhance  the Coco Beach.

Fishing is the major occupation of the natives residing at this beach. This is because the area around the beach belongs to a fishing village. The beach offers  activitieslike boating and watersports.

Travellers can enjoy the dolphin spotting trip via boats to spot a number of dolphins in the crystal clear water. The most prominent activity at this beach is sunbathing.

Best place for spotting dolphins

Coco beach is off the main road leading towards Aguada. Without a GPS it can be hard for outsiders to locate. There are a number of boats here which take visitors out into the bay to see dolphins. The price of Rs. 150 per head is fairly reasonable, but might be higher in the peak tourist season in Dec/Jan.The probability of spotting dolphins is directly linked to the skill of the boat pilot. The aggressive pilots keep the engines on full and race towards any dolphins that may appear, scaring them away. The sensible pilots usually just float around and the dolphins come quite close.

Dolphin safari beach

I visited this place in November 2015, Dolphin safari(Rs. 300) is a new experience and you can actually spot Dolphin during this ride. Make sure you carry your glasses/goggles or you can purchase it from local vendor(Rs. 100). Girls can flaunt with tiara(rs. 30-40 bargain).
