Famous temple in Pune

This temple is one of the famous temples in Pune and well know all over India. Its located in a busy area on the main road. Locating & reaching the temple is very easy. Even though there is a lot of crowd most of the times, the volunteers manage the crowd and one can get darshanam very fast. Must visit place in Pune

Excellent Place

A very peaceful and spiritual place. It is located in Budhwar Peth. I prefer to visit the temple on working days as there is lot of rush on weekends and Tuesday. There is a special baggage counter at end of the Lane so you can keep it there. You should visit once if you are in Pune or around.

Ganapati Temple - Must visit if you in Pune

Dagdushet Halwai Ganapati temple is religious place and Maharashtra most loved one. Its located in heart of city and very near from Shaniwar wada. The temple is renovated time to time and its getting much more beautiful and showcasing rich heritage of Maharashtra. The gods idol is so beautiful that you feel the spiritual . . The traffic on road is too much high and prefer to get down car and ask driver to come back once you done. You can buy books - mini idols etc from their for remembrance. My view if you are in Pune you must visit the place.

Ganpati Bappa Mourya !!

I heard a lot about this temple. When I got chance to study In Pune, this temple was on my priority list. Dagduseth ji is situated in the mid of the Pune city, next to Shaniwada. It is in the running market. Bappa's Idol is worth watching, as it is very beautiful & well designed by artisans. Temple is very clean as usually. I must say, If you're in Pune, then visit this temple once.

Gorgeous Ganpati Bappa

Possibly the oldest temple of Pune with an illustrious history and a great place to visit. We wanted to make it a point to visit this temple in particular even though we had a very hectic schedule and could manage at 10 pm in the night but it was worth a visit. The deity is really sparkling with all the richness of gold and silver. And a nice and clean temple to visit,

Beautiful temple, beautiful idol

I visited it twice during my stay, first time in the afternoon and early morning the second time. If you want to have peaceful darshan, I would recommend visiting the temple in the morning around 8-9 am. You will have to keep your bag in the locker, but can carry a small carry-bag or sling bag inside. So make sure you are carry one to keep your valuables and take it inside the temple.
