The most panoramic village

Darcha is a most panoramic village at an elevation of approx 11, 020 feet on the bank of Bhaga River in Lahaul region of HP. It is situated at 32 kilometers away from Keylong along the Manali-Leh Highway. The village is the end point of most famous trek beginning in Padum, Zanskar. Second day (17. 6. 2018) of our Keylong trip, we proceeded towards Baralacha pass and when we climbed up for the pass, first we stopped at Darcha. The scenic beauty of Darcha is absolutely speechless. Darcha police ckeck post checked our permit to move forward. From Darcha when we moved forward firstly we met Deepak Tail. A small lake surrounded by majestic Himalayan mountains. The lake water is crystal clean and bluish in color. There are a few stalls at road side in Darcha which offer basic food and we have had lunch over there on our returned journey to Keylong. It is definitely such a beautiful spot that make the journey more interesting and memorable.
