Das Prakash Paradise is situated in the best housing area in Mysore, Yadavgiri. Quite, peaceful though in the middle of the city the area has one of the best setting for a relaxed stay. 100% veg food gives peace to your stomach also. Very well behaved staff and very well kept hotel. There is no compromise in terms of cleanliness. Neat rooms, best part is the beautiful huge bay windows that gives a magnificent view of Mysore, and once the night fall view gets better. They have really helpful travel desk and upon request WiFi connection. They have an impressive balance between business crowd and tourist crowd and the best part the hotel serves best for both. Proximity of the hotel is also really good. Best stay for frequent travelers via Mysore, best value for money, best food and best accommodation.
On December 2016 I visited Mysore for my holiday trip with my family members. My native place is Bangalore. Mysore was very good ed city & I liked the Chamundi Hill. Hotel is very close to railway station. The ambience was very nice in look why very clean. The reception was very below average & they charged us very high price. I booked our stay through a phone call. Service was very prompt & on time serving us. Rooms were very clean & good maintenance. Food was very good & no complimentary food was there. It was good in food quality. There was no any other activity & no WiFi facility. No travel desk facility was there. It was good to stay & nice accommodation.
This is a huge property located in a peaceful location of Yadavagiri, Mysore. This is one of the economical hotel in Mysore with excellent quality of rooms. It is located 2 km from Railway station and Bus stand The staff is courteous and offers good service. They have both A/C and Non A/C rooms. Note WiFi services is paid service here. They have ample parking space for both 2 Wheelers and 4 Wheelers. You will also see a huge lawn as you enter on the left side where you can plan for a party of 200 people. They also have 2 other party halls My advice for everyone is to try the South Indian meals here whenever you plan to visit this place. It is one of the best South Indian meals with unlimited Ghee you get in Mysore. Overall the food is good serving both South Indian and North Indian but Non-veg food is not offered here.
The hotel is well situated and has a nice building. The food was good. The amenities were good. It is one of the best and decent hotels to stay. I would definitely revisit the hotel at least to have good food. I advise my fellow travellers to do the same. The manager was very friendly and told us all the places we could visit in Mysore. On the whole the experience was very good. Had a great swim and can take long strolls and can enjoy the subtle view of Mysore. They'll arrange for the travels if necessary and they'll do anything we ask the to do. The hotel room were pretty comfortable.
Hotel was located in the centre of the city and it was easily accessible. As a destination, Mysore place is fantastic. Interior and exterior look of the hotel was fine. I had booked my room over phone and it was easy booking. There was no delay in check in and check out facility. Overall services were fast and also staff behaviour was friendly. Room was spacious, neat and clean. All basic amenities were available in the room like TV, fan, etc and they all were functioning well but no refrigerator and all were not available. My overall experience in the hotel was good. Food facility was available in the hotel and it was fine. Nothing was available in activities. I travelled there alone in the month of May 2014. It was a personal trip and also official trip. I would like to recommend this hotel. I liked the location of the hotel. They should provide swimming pool, gym and other activities. Hotel was value for money.
