A lush green untouched hill peak

Deoban is a great place, there are some mythological story for this place that Guru Dorna Charya stayed here and practiced archery shooting with a bow and arrows at a target. Deoban is a lush green untouched hill peak. There is only one jangle approach Road to reach there we have also to walk in between Deodar trees. If you visit Chakrata don't forget to go there.

A beautiful forest to take photographs and enjoy picnic

Deoban is a forest having Deodar trees. It covers a long stretch. There are some beautiful spots there, where you can take pictures, enjoy the view and have a picnic. The condition of the road is not good. You can drive at a maximum speed of 20km/hr.

Forest of Deodar trees

One must keep a guide or any local if you are visiting Deoban. As this is a jungle and you can also see wildlife if you are lucky. But don't consider yourself lucky because there is no forest ranger, and no signage. You have to be on your own. Do not travel after dark. Back to your stay before dark. In winters you can enjoy snowfall as it is located at the back of the mountains so chances of snowfall are high. Be alert and be aware!!

View to die for!

Far from the humdrum of the city, off the beaten track of the regular tourists lies this small sleepy hamlet of Deoban. Close to the Tiger Falls, this hamlet offers you the majestic Himalayas which perhaps has few comparisons. Incidentally you are in the land of Mahabharata. Try to feel the settings of the great epic. Maybe you will catch a thing or two...
