Devaprayag is one of the pilgrimage destinations offered by Tehri-Garhwal of Uttrakhand. Devaprayag, included amongst Panch Prayags, is famous for the confluence holy rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. Alaknanda and Bhagirathi are considered to be the tributaries of River Ganges and the river is termed so only after the merging of its tributaries at Devaprayag.

Devaprayag, traversed by River Ganges and its tributaries offers Brahma Kund on Bhagirathi River and Vashisht Kund on Alaknanda River. Devaprayag, which is named after ascetic Dev Sharma who was an ardent devotee of Sri Ram, is famous for the 10, 000 year old Raghunathji Temple.

Devaprayag lies at an altitude of 475 m above the sea level on Rishikesh- Badrinath highway at a distance of 71 km ahead of Rishikesh.
