A Village at Temple, Devipattinam Devipattinam

We started early morning at 7:30 from Rameshwaram by our taxi for Devipattinam, Uthirakosamangai and Thirupullani as a day trip from Rameshwaram. Devipatnam is a coastal village of Ramanathapuram district just 11 km from Ramanathapuram. It is very famous for the Navagraha temple installed inside the sea. There is also Lingeswarar Temple in Devipattinam dedicated to Lord Shiva and also a temple of Goddess Parvati nearby.
