Dharampur, known for its royal heritage, is situated on the Waghai-Vansda Highway. This town is located on the banks of the Swargavahini River and is visited by a number of travellers.

It was a princely state, which was ruled by the Sisodia Rajput rulers. Dharampur contains several famous attractions like the Laxminarayan Temple, Japanese Gardens and the Lady Wilson Museum. The place has one of the best hospitals in India to cure tuberculosis.
