Service is fine

Posted 6 Sep, 2014

Average looking hotel and it is in convenient location. No problems with check-in or check-out. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Didn't eat in the hotel, except for breakfast. Food was good. No extra activities in the hotel. Service was fine. Didn't check for extra facilities/travel desk. They should revamp the appearance to make it better.

Well maintained rooms with quality food

Posted 9 Aug, 2014

They provided only breakfast in the hotel and it was not up to the mark. Rooms were very good. Rooms were spacious, neat, and well maintained. I faced no problem during check in and check out timing. There was no outdoor activity available. They did not arrange any sightseeing trip for us. I am totally satisfied with the amount of money I have spent at the hotel. There should be some improvement in food quality. I went there with my wife in the month of October. Port Blair is a wonderful placed as tourist destination.

Conveniently located; sea view from room

Posted 9 Jul, 2014

The hotel is conveniently located and situated close to the city. I did not found any difficulty to find hotel and reconnected too many places. The staff behaviour was good and the rooms were spacious, neat and clean. They provided basic amenities which are functioning properly. There is a sea view seen from the room. I have my food outside the hotel. They did not provide any activities in the hotel but organized sightseeing trip in hotel. The money spent in the hotel was reasonable and I recommended to other travellers. There is no delay with check-in and check-out process. I visited this hotel in the month of November 2013 with my family for vacation purpose.

Well-maintained rooms; good interior & exterior

Posted 20 Jun, 2014

I stayed in this hotel with my family on a relaxing trip around two years back. The hotel is near to the city, market and bus stand. Interior and exterior of the hotel was good. Gym and games and other activities are not available. The rooms are neatly maintained with AC, TV and geyser facility; there was no room view. The taste of the food was good. It was value for money. They should improve service and inform customers about the facilities available in this hotel.

Close to airport; no outdoor activity is available

Posted 2 Jun, 2014

Hotel is good, not so big, but overall a good place to stay. I stayed here for 7 days. Port Blair is a nice place. There are many islands for sightseeing. Hotel is located in Jungli Ghat. It is very near to the airport. Hotel also provides pickup and drop facility on asking. Rooms are available on economical rates. Rooms are neat and clean. It is properly maintained. It is good looking. It is not near to the beach. Staff behavior and service is fair. Staff is fast and very friendly and soft spoken. No games area available for kids. There is no outdoor activity available. There is no permanent food arrangement. They cook food on asking in hotel’s kitchen. Booking front office and reception is also good. Hotel can be recommended to others.

good hospitality with sightview

Posted 28 Feb, 2014

Good hospitality, good site view from the hotel, have to make better in food supply and room cleaning service. Its good to spend time in the hotel, we get home feeling in the hotel and it was a good thing. The top floor has to be changed into concrete and we felt more heat in a/c room itself and good advice to travel.

Posted 7 Nov, 2013

It was the first time have visited Andaman- Port Blair for my Official Trip, Stayed at Dharma Hotel, which is located very near - walk-able distance from Port Blair Airport. This hotel has full furnished facility and very comfortable to stay, The Manager & their staff is very cooperative. Good service and neat rooms. I found the hotel clean. But Overall look of the building was old. Food quality is very good. A neat cheap accommodation in Port Blair. Its Not a Star hotel but worth for money you are paying.

Amenities offered were average

Posted 30 Oct, 2013

It was a visit to Andamans to experience the spirit of islands under the blue sky and along with the blue seas. It is a boundless joy for a mainland inhabitant on the Andamans to explore the beauty of nature in three fold-- the sky, the surface and under water. It is an average amenities hotel offering normal beds, toilets, standard water supply with T. V. For information and recreation. The hotel staff found gentle and supplying requests. The cleanliness they maintained. The master mind Mr. Balakrishna arranged our meals as per our requests which were subject to alteration. It is advised that the requirements to be placed beforehand. If the cost is one of the factors then Dharma stands for you

This hotel may be a nice choice

Posted 18 Nov, 2013

I was visiting Andaman islands to see and experience the exotic shores and beaches of the islands . . Our stay in the room was comfortable. Bed was good and comfortable. TV set was not that good as it was an old crt set with an ordinary cable connection, but it was okay as we were not supposed to watch tv for long time. The behavior of the staff was gentle and they provided us with all our needs when ever asked. There are couple of good and cheap hotels at walkable distance from the hotel. This hotel may be a nice choice for those who are not bothered about much luxury. It gives good connectivity, you can get bus, taxi from right in front of the hotel. It is near to the airport also.
