“A life time experience- Apt for non swimmers who want to try scuba”

One will find a high range in scuba diving rates in Havelock, we went for Divine India which is on costlier side but a tried and tested one as one will not take risk in these once in lifetime activities. And we were not disappointed, we reached Dive India around 8:30, changed our clothes and then move to the diving site. Necessary breathing techniques were exercised at diving site. There were few hiccups as I was quite scared due to reason that i never done swimming in my life. But the trainers were quite patient and they also provide alternatives to the technique. Finally we got ready and dived into the sea. And it was a sort of dream. Water was crystal clear; we could see different kind of fishes, corals and other aquatic animals. Had a great 45 minutes, me and wife were brought together to click a few pictures and we both were rotated together which was recorded in a video.Overall a life time experience a must have.

A good place to learn diving

I visited Havelock for only one reason and the reason is to do 2 courses in diving and get my SSI diving certifications and for obvious reasons I chose Dive India. They are the most experienced in Andamans when it comes to diving. The instructors are supercool. They take you to the best diving sites in and around and I am serious when I say that other diving institutes follow them.

Excellent Dive shop with very friendly instructors

I did my open waters dive course with Dive India. The hut accommodation was well maintained and the bathrooms were always kept clean. Frodo, Sam and Fluffy, the pet dogs at Vinnies Island are extremely friendly and adorable. The best part of the place is the dive shop. Every instructor we came across was friendly and passionate about diving. My instructor was very patient in teaching us the basic safety skills and made us feel completely at ease during the diving sessions, always checking with us if we were comfortable under the water. After the dives she passionately discussed and identified the various marine life spotted during our dives and helped us load our dive records. Highly recommended for novice and experienced divers, I would definitely be going back to dive with Dive India soon.

Fantastic snorkeling, good experience watching colour fishes

My wife and I went snorkelling with Dive India. We were taken on a 30-minute drive in a boat to a corner of the island, which was good for scuba. We did not know swimming and were escorted by an attendant to the shore from where we went snorkelling. The depth must have been around 6 metres, and I could see beautiful brightly coloured fishes as close as ever. The coral reef below was fantastic. This experience takes the cake for the total trip.

Scuba diving

Scuba diving and other activities are available but the length of each activity is very short. Photographs given do not provide any insight into under seawater activities but only give photos of the person underwater. Need to upgrade the standard of activities.
