Stayed at the hotel for 2 days at their superior rooms. Spacious and comfortable, the room is equipped with good amenities and state of the art facilities. The laundry service is fast and reasonable. The food is great, the breakfast buffet has a wonderful spread.
The room is terrible and it looks like as if you are admitted at Hospital. The entire room, bed, bathroom exactly replicates like it's a terrible hospital. Service at the hotel is just average but it's a really terrible place to stay in. Wasted my money by staying here, Would not recommend to stay here at all.
I visited Cochin last week for a business meeting. I was looking for a hotel which is centrally located and has access to city center. I choose Dream hotel since it is location close to my clients office. The entrance of hotel is good. I received warm welcome from the guard and front office staff. Check-in procedure was quick and staff member escorted me to the room which was located on 10th floor. Rooms are elegant and very neat and clean. Room lighting and Illumination was fantastic. Bedroom window offers beautiful view of Cochin city. Hotel is equipped with multi cuisine restaurants and Mainland China . . I ordered the food from room service. It was delicious and service was really quick. If you opt to stay at this hotel, prefer to have front side rooms on top floors. It has excellent view of city. Hotel has terrace restaurant which I couldn't visit owing to paucity of time. But next time I would certainly do. One thing which I did not like about this hotel is, they do not offer complimentary WiFi. Its available on chargeable basis. However, charges are very high. So, I would recommend if you wish to stay connected, make sure you carry your own otherwise you will have to pay internet charges.
I am basically an aerospace engineer. I had to attend a seminar on avionics and aircraft maintenance at CIAL, Nedumbassery. I usually travel across India for various seminars and conferences. This was my 4th visit to Cochin. I usually stay at the Crowne Plaza or Holiday Inn. This time around I had to make last minute arrangements and hence had to book a club suite for the 2 nights, so booked this Dream Cochin. It was around 7500/night I guess. Now onto my experience with the hotel The exterior and location: Not bad, but it is a bit of a struggle to get through all the traffic (courtesy :the Cochin metro construction) and finally got there. The exterior is okay during the day but, at night the Dream truly shines with all its colours and lights The room: I was allotted a club suite I guess. It had a massaging chair which did not work as expected. Air conditioning was okay nothing. But the entire set up of the room seems to be a bit off the standard, with a cheap vase on the table and a small LCD TV, its a Suite room for god's sake !!. The blue lighting was good provided a soothing effect and helped me get to sleep faster. Mini bar was not bad. The right ambience felt like a cheap skate. The internet connection didn't work as promised most of the times I was found using my own data plan Service: Friendly staff nothing to boast of but, they weren't rude, now that was a relief The place where it is located is called Elamkulam, it has many churches close by. Elamkulam is a great place with great and vibrant atmosphere. Would I recommend it, if you don't manage to secure a room in either Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza, then only think about staying at Dream Cochin Hotel
I went there for a business purpose. It was a good hotel and it was conveniently located. The hotel was situated in the city and the location was also very nice. The behaviour of the staff was very good. I didn't face any delay during check in and checkout process. The interior as well as the exterior of the hotel was fine. The room was spacious, neat, clean and well maintained. Basic amenities like TV, geyser and AC were provided in the room. I didn't face any problem with room allotted to me. I only had food in the hotel. The quality and variety wise it was good, but the price was little expensive. I didn't participate in any extra activities conducted by the hotel. As it was a business trip so I didn't ask for sightseeing trips. It was a good hotel and I will recommend this hotel to other tourist. The hotel was value for money. I don't have any suggestion for hotel improvement.
I stayed here with my wife during a short leisure trip to Kochi. There was no difficulty in finding the hotel. Outside appearance was ejection. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We were given a space in waiting area and provided us a refreshing welcome drink. After check-in formalities were over, we were taken to the room. Before they guided us to the room, we were shown all the amenities in the hotel. We were very pleased by the courteous behavior of the staff. The room was very spacious and the lighting theme was romantic. Bathroom had shower and no bathtub. The complimentary steam Bath helped us relax completely after a tiring road trip We chose Mainland China restaurant for our dinner. The service, ambience and food quality were truly amazing. The pool was on rooftop with a live barbecue restaurant. Every issue including local transport and places to visit were answered to our satisfaction by the staff. Truly this stay was beyond our expectations. I would recommend to everybody. Advice : The name is likely to change to Radisson Blue so search for this name.
I stayed in the month of February and it was a holiday trip. The location was good and it was middle on the city. The appearance was good and nice looking. The hotel front office was very good and prompts in service. Check in and checkout was also very fast. I would rate my room excellent as all the amenities were working properly and it was very clean & spacious. I liked the room service of the hotel, they were quick and responsive. I would rate food as excellent as the taste was very good and homely.
