Not worth if your hotel is more than 30kms from it .!

Only thing to experience in dudhni is water boating in river water, thanks to madhuban dam.A watetboat for 4 people for an hour is 300 rs, which includes crossing the river to and fro, and spending time at a garden which is on othet side of river. That's it There are no watersports activities here, as mentioned on other forums. No waterbikes & other stuff. We had to travel almost 40 kms to reach dudhni. And experiencing just a waterboat after such travel is not at all worth it.Visit dudhni only if your hotel is vicinity to Dudhni (5-10Kms). If you are staying away, drop the plan .. I am sure you wont regret.

Dam has created a Reservoir worth enjoying

Madhuban Dam in Union Territory of DNH Silvassa has created this beautiful Reservoir of Dudhani jungles. Government has created great facilities, a water jetty boating with tribals and stay around this beautiful water body. Do not stay in Khanvel unless you want to imbibe only Spirits not this supremely spiritual nature at its best variety I suppose better after Monsoons. Six seasons to Go!!! At such a less cost I forgot to mention. As you probably forget all this as you land in Dudhani ahead of Khanvel, DNH SILVASSA.

Good place for sightseeing and boating

Good place for sightseeing and to enjoy boating in Shikara. Big Lake. Some work for the camera. Sunset can be seen the best with good ride. Overall can spend an hour or two. Food not so good in the vicinity so one has to carry some snacks.

View is beautiful

The view from top is very beautiful, we felt like lavasa city. Very long, neat and clean lake, enjoyed boating there, its 1 and half hour journey from Silvassa. Beautiful place to visit with family. Must visit Lion safari and deer safari and tribal museum. You'll find lots of resort there for stay.

Good for a day's visit

Dudhni is a few kilometres away from Silvasa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli's administrative quarter. The place is known for a huge dam on the Daman Ganga river. The dam is very deep and the boat rides are very enjoyable. There is an island in the middle of the dam which is quite interesting as there are no schools or workplaces on the island. Residents cross the waterbody everyday for work. Also a houseboat is available for rent where people can stay for the night.

Visit Dudhani Lake only if you love boating

Dudhni Lake is about 18 to 20 km away from Silvassa. Road to Dudhani Lake from Silvassa is narrow and not in good condition. The main attraction here is boating. Very less options for food / restaurant. No public washroom facilities. Visit the place if you or your kids love boating.

Dudhni water boating was nice

We visited Dudhni lake and had a boat ride. This was a good experience. We could not visit the garden at Dudhni. It was a mini hill station. There is facility for staying near the Dudhni garden in the form of hotels.

Good place to visit in monsoon

Can't say best but good place to roam. But Silvassa is only place in Gujarat where wine is legally allowed. People rarely go out from hotel but if love to see nearest places then this is a good place to visit in monsoon. The water fall is only seen in Oct to Feb.
