The temple is built in North-Indian style

This is one of the temples of pattadakal dedicated to lord shiva in the form of galaganatha. The temple has sculptures of lord shiva killing a demon, navagrahas, and a sanctum with Shiva linga. The temple is built in North-Indian style. Do carry cap, shoes, cameras, water, umbrellas, as its very hot here. This site is under unesco and recognised as one of the world heritage site.
