Honest helpful staff. Mostly foreigner guests. Awesome location on the ghaat. Great view of the river, Close to the temple and the Aarti ghat. Value for money. Good to see they were keeping the place maintained- painting, repairing, scrubbing etc.
Place has an amazing view of Ganga. We stayed at the 'Best view' room which has a sort of private balcony. It's divided with wooden barricades. We ordered Indian food and it was amazing, expensive but good! The only issue we had with the place is that it does not have a extension to call for services, like order food or room cleaning. We had to go personally to the restaurant to order food. Other than this, it's all good. PS: its close to where Ganga Aarti is done. A walk of about 10 minutes only.
I was super happy with this place. Rooms are really clean and beautifully decorated with colourful walls and Indian handicrafts. The staff are great and very honest, were able to give good advice and also had great gifts for sale. The restaurant is also very delicious and reasonably priced with a fantastic view all the way down to the Southern ghats. Highly recommended. Stayed on May 2016.
If you are looking for a decent hotel with good food and reasonable price, this is the place. It is very close to Viswanath (Golden) temple, Visalakshi and Annapurna temple. It is located in the banks of Ganga with many rooms having private balcony with ganges view. It was an awesome experience to watch Ganges from the balcony. Staff and their service is very good and they serve mouth watering food.
A very nice guest house in the old town that was clean and comfortable. The Ganpati Guest House was a perfect base camp for our Varanasi vacation. The view of the ganges was amazing and we could not have had a better location. Great rooftop terrace for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Banana pancakes were delicious. Also we took stuffed parathas for our train journey and they were great too. Staff were excellent and went out of their way to help. We enjoyed very much and would recommend others.
Our family visited to Varanasi with purpose and stayed at Ganpati guest house. They arranged free taxi to the Varanasi railway station and picked up to their guest house. Guest house is located nearer Ganga and the view from the balcony is beautiful. They also arranged taxi for Varanasi trip and also Allahabad ( triveni sangam) trip which was helped my travel as per plan without any issues. The ambience and food service were excellent.
Varanasi is one of the most famous city in us, famous for it's temple. It is said to be one of the oldest city of the world. This city get to many visitor from foreign countries. The city has many place to visit including ghats, bhu, and lord shiv temple. The guest house is a medium range. The room were good as well the food. One thing I like it about is it faces the holy Ganga. It has it's own restaurant and offer veg food as most of the hotel are. The staff were nice and helpful they help me about the places to visit and the transport charge as the charge quite high due to high no of tourist. One will like staying here. It will recommend one for you.
I had a great time in Ganpati Guest House. The staff were very helpful, I recommend you to arrange the hotel pick up as you have to walk a long way carrying all your bags. The hotel staff carry your bags and show you the way. The rooms are very good, I recommend the river view rooms. Hotel was very clean and the food was excellent, I did not eat any where else. The manger Cheeku was very helpful. The best place to stay asyo you are right on the river Ganges close to every thing.
The hotel is in a good location. It is a good hotel for the traveller who want to eat good food. It's north Indian food was best quality. It's service is good. The traveller who want to stay there it is quite good. The bathroom and bedroom is good. Their staff are honest and helpful.
The location of the hotel was very cool. The good part of the hotel was that it was besides the river. Staff service was low and they did not even respond towards us. The hotel was located in a very beautiful, clean place and all. The facilities associated with it was very good. There is no problem in condition on the hotel.
