A beautiful location but overcrowded

Really nice place to see, with the majestic Taj hotel in the background . . However, normally this place stinks and is overcrowded, with lots of photographers haggling around to take photos . Would be a splendid place to visit if not for the large crowds . Also the main place to catch a private catamaran to Alibaugh

The Gateway to India

It offers beautiful views of the Bombay Harbour with commercial ships anchored, waiting their turn to come in to the port . . The view often includes war ships and submarines coming in or moving out of the port as well as many sailing boats and a few large yachts some anchored while other moving from their mooring for an engaging sail around the harbour There are commercial motor boats that offer a limited local harbour ride for enthusiasts.

Nice Place

As it's a historical monument, Built by British with good Architectural designs, worth to visit once. You can also visit to anjanta caves near Gateway and also enjoy a boat ride to & fro the caves, There's a nominal ticket for going to caves. You can go there by sharing autos or city buses from station.
