The location of the hotel was convenient to approach. The interior and exterior appearance of the hotel was well decorated. The surrounding of the hotel was tidy. There was no delayed in check in and checkout procedure. The staffs at the hotel were frank. The room allocated to me was spacious and the bathroom was hygienic. All the amenities were worked well. The hot water facility was provided for limited time period by the hotel. The laundry service was provided by the hotel. I was not able to see any view from my balcony. The quality of food was better and the price was affordable. They only served vegetarian food. The hotel had not arranged any sightseeing trip. I would like to recommend this hotel for other travellers.
Me and my wife went to Darjeeling in October 2014. I saw Glenburn Hotel online and me and my wife just fell for it. So we decided to stay here only. It is situated in a Tea Estate. The appearance of hotel kind of reminds you the British Era, the interior, furnitures and everything. Got the best kind of service from staff. The view around here is just breathtaking. You can even try out different kind of teas that are grown here. Must stay here if you ever go to Darjeeling.
It was a splendid experience to stay at the Glenburn Estate, Darjeeling, where you could find Mother Nature nurtures your days activities. It is almost 30 minutes journey from the Bagdogra airport. The food is healthy and the amenities are good, although you might find a little problem with the water here. The front lobby is small, but redecorated. You can enjoy your stay by visiting the zoo or the tiger hill observatory point or the mall.
A superb trip to Darjeeling this apr 2014. I was with my family, stayed here for 3 nights and we all had good time. Good location and nice ambience. Food was nice. Staff was friendly and supportive. Room was spacious and clean. A highly recommended property.
There were three buildings that make up the accommodations. The original house was surrounded by gardens with butterflies and birds galore. The lower house, which was built more recently, was designed keeping the original feel of the estate and was lovely. (We stayed in this building. There was also a small cottage which would be great, if you were travelling as a group and had all the rooms . .
Wonderful hostess made our welcome amazing .Glenburn Tea Estate is a heavenly little plantation retreat set on a hillock above the banks of the River Rungeet, deep in the Himalayas, overlooking the Kanchenjunga peaks. We were all thrilled with our rooms which were large & spacious and beautifully decorated.
In a single word .... Its \"AMAZING\". Truly beautiful. You might have seen it in some movie !!!! No words to explain its beauty... you must stay there ... I am sure you will not be disappointed. You will love it .
