Govind Deo appearance
Govind Deo, which is also known as Govindaji Temple, was built by Raja Man Singh, who the general of Emperor Akbar. Built in 1590, this seven storeyed temple reflects the architectural elements of Western, Hindu and Muslim style. The temple was designed in the form of Greek cross and was made using red sandstone, which was donated by the Emperor Akbar. The temple was destroyed by Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, but its ruins can still be seen by the visitors.
